You could try out a place and see if you really need a gun there or if that's just the states.

I like guns. It's not about whether or not they are a necessity.

Would some sort of Civil union with equal rights acceptable?

I can't think of a country where you could get all 3. If you could live without Gay marriage I would say go to Australia!! =)

Being pessimistic, if things go really bad in the US (economic collapse, bankruptcy, civil unrest) there really won't be anywhere to run because everyone will take a hit from the shock waves..

While I like guns, I am willing to give that up for a place where there is gay marriage or at least civil unions and the voters are not insane like they appear to be in this country. Mike and I talk moving to Canada, and that looks more appealiing now that ever. If this is a sign of things to come in 2012, we will need to seriously look at moving. lol

Well New Hampshire has two of those three things. We have gay marriage, are libertarian leaning (Live Free or Die), has very loose gun laws, and during the summer, and fall our weather is nice and moderate. But, you would have to put up with our brutal winters. If you'd be willing to do that, then you should come on up.

Your new homeland sounds like Portugal or Spain. Not quite tropical weather but very nice still.

But gun laws are ridiculously strict in both those countries, unless he would be willing to give up that point on his 'want' list.

So I guess I'm screwed no matter what. I figured as much. Oh well.

Come on up Tim,

1. Gay Marriage is definitely legal

2. Guns are legal, just need to register them and get a firearms license for yourself

3. Lots of Gay men to climb into a warm bed with to keep you warm when you can't frolick outside for a few weeks in the winter 0:)

Well nobody is as crazy about guns as the Americans (you usually have to at least pass some exams to get the firearms licence) - but I know this is a highly controversial topic. ;)

Tiger, you are right, but you have to go there outside of the holiday's season. The island then is crowded ans it's awful.

And BTW you have to take a fake gun to fullfil your conditions

I love Mykonos. All you need is a Moped and a speedo to fit right in.
