Funny Story

Nephylim

Okay, so I really really don't want to have to explain how i dislocated my shoulder to all the lovely people who have asked.

Howerver, I realise that I am not going to be able to avoid it... SO you can blame this blog on all those horrible people who care enough to beat me over the head with a baseball bat and force me to post this blog.

Warning TMI coming up and it won't be pretty.

Okay.... I am NOT going to come out and say the words and no apologies for that. So here is an euphamism.

I am taking morphing based medication for pain. This had been doing nasty things to my body... well part of it... the part that ends up alongside my mind... in the sewers.

So... we move quickly on to the euphamism.

So I have friends who visit and usually leave on a regular basis without me having to think too much about it. Recently my friends have been tending to outstay their welcome and this week they have been a right pain in the arse.

So this particular friend really didn't want to go and I had to end up pushing him out the door. In order to give me extra leverage I held on to the door frame and... um... dislocated my shoulder.

And yes, I did have to explain this to the doctor and yes, he did laugh.

On the bright side I now have medicine.

Awwww. Sorry Nephy, but I laughed along with the doctor here.

See, that's what you get for being too friendly with people: they don't want to leave you.

You should put those fangs and chains on display a bit more :P Although, of course... some actually like fangs and chains...

i think people shouldn't "beat you over the head with a baseball bat" when you're already in pain! :) hope you feel better soon. :)

I don't get the euphemism :P

But you poor girl :P You're not the only one who's had a bad case with doors. I've had my thumb sliced open by one :P

I hope I won't be extending my visit when I come and meet you in your charming home enviroment (soon I hope) past your hospitality. :P

You deserve a massage, pampering and hot sex (not necessarily in that order) and I am ordering them your way from the universe. It seriously owns you.

Hug, feel better soon.

I think that it's funny to read this in the completely innocent context most people seem to have read it in.

However, funnier is to read it in the context which I believe you intended and then read the comments from others assuming that they are responding to that context.

I think Bleu's solution might worsen the problem, poor John I hope he used TCP and I hope Maria cooks well.

Personally, I find that getting really well acquainted with alcohol and then my voluminous fruit juice hangover cure, sends my friends running. Pun intended.

I love language.

:P

Wow, I have no words for that. Poor Nephy. May you, um, heal quickly and may people realize not to overstay their welcome in any room or place.

Actually I was surprised that people didn't seem to 'get' the euphamism especially when there were plenty of cues.

I would like to make it abundantly clear that i do NOT force my friends, or any human being, out of the door by gripping the door frame and straining.

None of my human 'friends' need to worry about this post which is literally about a pain in the arse

Weeeellll I mean come ON

Poor Nephylim..... I'm praying for you, to be cured quickly. I mean, about your physical pain. For the rest, it makes me more to laugh than anything else :lmao:.

I won't pretend that I understood everything you just explained, *wink* but I can say that I understood enough to understand everything you said:).You won't have much problem repairing the dislocation, good luck all the same.P.S. I laughed too:).

I understood (snickers, sorry) and wow, Nephy, you're umm... strong! Yeah, we'll go with being amazed at the strength to hold on to something enough to dislocate your own shoulder. Uh huh, that's the aspect to 'push' on the whole situation.

 awwww.. Get better.. and stronger, so that.. just so that, the next time you got to shove someone out the door, you don't end up dislocating your shoulder... again! ^_^
