jovian_w2002 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 I'm very sensitive to tickles. Even a light touch to any part of my body except my face would send me into a giggling fit lol. I know, weird! LOL. hehe. How do you fight off this sensation? My ex-boyfriends complained about how much it was difficult to cuddle me because I would be 'squirming' with laughter lol.
Drewbie Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 I am ticklish on my sides. I used to be more ticklish.
Demetz Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 I am ticklish, as my ex delighted in reminding me often
Bandage Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 My belly and sides and feet... But I learned to control the feet
Site Moderator TalonRider Posted September 2, 2008 Site Moderator Posted September 2, 2008 If caught off guard, I can be ticklish. I can control it somewhat when I see it coming. My youngest sister on the other hand, all I have to do is point two fingers at her and she takes off.
Tiger Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 I'm ticklish in places, but I shall not reveal my weak spots.
Cynical Romantic Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Yes, quite ticklish. But I find that only a very light touch tickles. A firmer or more deliberate touch doesn't. Jovian, you might try suggesting to your boyfriends that they be a bit less tentative
Rakuten06 Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 I'm ticklish when it comes to my neck, the sides, and the feet! I squirm a little but laugh harder...
AFriendlyFace Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 If caught off guard, I can be ticklish. I can control it somewhat when I see it coming. That's a good point Yes, quite ticklish. But I find that only a very light touch tickles. A firmer or more deliberate touch doesn't. Jovian, you might try suggesting to your boyfriends that they be a bit less tentative So's that! I think a lot depend on whether or not you see it coming and how firm the touch is. I'm a bit ticklish, but not excessively.
myself_i_must_remake Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 i flail and scream and end up hitting someone in the face. when they do it repeatedly i start to feel it before they even touch me. tickle fights are serious shit to me.
JamesSavik Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 I haven't met a red-head yet that wasn't ticklish... and I have spent a great deal of time looking.

clumber Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Im very ticklish. In fact, on occasions I can sometimes be tickled from the other side of the room, with about 6 foot betweren me and the "tickling" hands... Martin
FrenchCanadian Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Oh geez,, at just about every part of my body,,,, ask jason,, it can be a mood killer from time to time, lol
corvus Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 My mom used to try to wake me up for school by tickling my feet. I soon grew calluses.
Procyon Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Feet and neck, but not always. If caught off guard, I can be ticklish. I can control it somewhat when I see it coming. When I see it coming it's much, much worse.
Anna Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 The arch of my feet... I know this spot well, since I try to tickle you as often as possible just to make you mad haha. I love you mommy! lol And I'm ticklish all over, it sucks because my friends just love to attack me lol.
jovian_w2002 Posted September 5, 2008 Author Posted September 5, 2008 My mom used to try to wake me up for school by tickling my feet. I soon grew calluses. I nearly 'died' laughing LOL. Can tickling cause calluses?????!???? LOL
Site Moderator TalonRider Posted September 5, 2008 Site Moderator Posted September 5, 2008 I nearly 'died' laughing LOL. Can tickling cause calluses?????!???? LOL If it's done enough time, you can get used to it, becoming callused to it.
MikeL Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 I seem to be the only one who voted "No". Don't know why; I've never been ticklish. That really ticks off some people. I also have a high pain threshold. I suppose there is a connection. Despite these abnormalities, I really am a sensitive person.
