Yeah, but Deke wasn't family. The only family member that was taken out was Bitty, and Alejandro did that. I don't know, maybe this will cross the point where he might go after family in that way, but It'd be doubtful.

Yeah, I actually remember when JP took care of something personally...0:) Was it not Deke?

==================

Perhaps JP will take advantage of a 2 4 1 sale and get Brian and his girlfriend a la Deke? Make it nice and neat and JP has the nerves for such as that!

This is kinda off topic, but is Robbie the only one who's ever killed someone with their own hands? I highly doubt that JP would of had the nerve - much less the strength - to get his own hands dirty. Posted Image

I thought the conversation Robbie and Brad had in the car after his meeting with Mike was a really nice example of how far they've come in repairing their relationship.

Jeremy doesn't want to get busted for violating the porn rules. :2thumbs:

Besides, I looked, and couldn't find any.:thumbdown:

true they have come very far and it's very nice. I kinda was expecting it to not be good but i duno. at the begining when the breakup was totaly promising, and all robbies fault. I didn't want them to get back together, but now after i've developed an understanding that it's alot Brad's Fault......i do wish them back together....even though the thought of loss of hair scars the efff out of me! lol. and i swore i've seen butt's at least on here. but maybenot.. :P

JP probably not. He's more of a Money will "Do" it for me. Or society. He plays both games on how to run someone out. Same with stef, if anyone could kill someone for something i have a feeling These people could: CLAIRE!!! Jack, Ace, Brad, Robbie(even though he HAS), Cody, Matt, and probably Jake(Wayyyyy back from be-rad, I just have a feeling) P.S- he's wayyyyy out of school now.....where the hell is he? stef kinda just paid for school then....peace out don't come visit. Even though there was this "conection".

And just as a random thought. Now that it's Clear Brad/Robbie/claire are defined as "Old money" and stef & JP as "New Money" Least i think it's been decided that. Anyway Based on that, i am VERY surprised None of Brad's Kids have freaked on him! Like seriously in the whole month that this shit was going on We've heard a little about JJ, Will actualy Came out, and Darius was actualy in a chapter.....but chapters never end with like calls to the children, like JJ is youngest(Right?) and now there's a new one from father tim...........no idea what his name is anymore because it was like a There thing and then it's done and delt with. I find it kinda wierd how the kids the kids were so important to brad while arguing with robbie on the island but yet as far as i know they don't even talk with them. So i wonder did money Spoil Brad/robbie? Just to pass the kids off to a Nanny and Will's Mother(only cuz i can't spell her name haha). Like seriously Mark!! Tell me they are your just not writing about it! :S

oh and i also miss the every two days a chapter. We've kinda slowed down. What's up?

Jake died of AIDS about the time that Sam did, back in Man in Motion, IIRC.

Actually, I would place JP, Brad, and Clair as old money, and Robbie as new money. Stef is the odd one as his father was old money, but he grew up poor until he came to America and then built a fortune himself. So he's a bit of both.

I don't think Mike will be pissed off with Brad for going after his mother, even if Brad succeeds. Mike's reaction when Brad told him of his intention was complete incredulity. Mike believes no one can take down his mother (who starred in The Wizard of Oz as the Wicked Witch of the West. :lol: )

Alfredo sauce? Really? :blink::wacko:

I took the handcuffs out of his hand and put one end around my left wrist and the other part to the bed post. Then I did the same thing with the right hand.

And I want to know how Brad managed to cuff his right hand since his left was already cuffed :lol:

Because try as I might, I can't do that...

I gotta admit it's been bugging the hell out of me that neither JJ nor Will seem to have the faintest clue what's going on. They are 14 and 13 years old, not 2. They should know, and they should be pissed. You're seriously telling me that kids who are in the entering phase of puberty are somehow taking the drama of Brad and Robbie like it's no big deal at all? Darius has had some reaction, but not by much. I get that Mark doesn't want to get too heavy into what the kids are doing because they're periphereal characters at this point, but it's been bothering me that the kids just don't seem to care. It feels wrong, remembering that age, that these kids haven't freaked out on them. I'm hoping there's been a delayed reaction and Will and JJ will seriously rebel during their latter teenage years. But again, I guess this story is already got a big enough canvas and it's already getting too long that I guess Mark didn't feel like it was important enough to include the reactions of Brad's kids, and we're moving away from that part of the story anyways. Maybe when JJ's like 19 and in therapy(you just KNOW that kid is destined for therapy with all the mounting issues he has to deal with), JJ can tell Brad and Robbie about how much their issues five years ago confused and bothered him. I bugged Mark enough about Brad never acknowledging his sexual molestation, and lo and behold he actually had that happen with the Box. I figure this is another dangling thread that can be left hanging and to be dealt with when the boys are the focus of the story.

And Mark, no, JJ is not the youngest, although I can see why you'd think that. JJ acts pretty young for his age. The order for Brad's children is Darius(January 19th, 1982), JJ(December 7th, 1985), and Will(September 14,1986.)

As for Will's "coming out"...I gotta wonder...is it really a coming-out if Will's never really been in the closet to begin with? He's 13 and understanding his newly forming sexuality. I don't think he ever really presented himself as interested in girls the way Brad and Matt did, and never really tried to act straight or anything but what he is. Could it be more "acknowledged his sexuality" or something? Mark doesn't really get to use the "coming out" theme for a future Will story the way he did for JP, Brad, and Matt, because Will already worked through those issues at 13. Which will make for an interesting take on a gay coming-of-age story when it's Will's turn.

Mark,

37 is a really beautiful, fun, romantic and affirming chapter. Even with all they have been through, you have enabled them to be in an incredible place but made the emotional journey realistic. Though both have grown, Brad, in my opinion, is much better prepared to face what you have hinted is in store for he and the rest of the guys in not only this story, but the coming tales as well. It is fun how you capture the various internal quirks of not only Brad/Robbie, but Jeanine, Cody, et al. These little insights add great depth to the story and make it much more interesting.

Thanks for the great ride!

That was an interesting chapter. I really liked the kinky parts. There was a lot more to it though. There was a lot of meaning in the kink, which is just as it should be. I'm also liking how things are developing with Kevin and Cody. They both deserve happiness. :D

OMG, Alfredo Sauce... I just loved this chapter and no matter what happens, you know that Brad and Robbie will always love each other...

Now on to other things.... JP is clearly old money, his grandfather on both sides had money and power. Stef is a hybrid, as his family here in America had money but he did not growing up in France. Brad/Claire et al are very old money as in at least fourth generation and maybe fifth generation of money and power. Robbie's money is new but because Frank being with Isadoire and growing up at least from his mid teen years with JP/Stef/Brad etc, is somewhat of a hybrid as well.

You don't have to be physically strong to kill someone just have to have the nerves or balls to do so and I think JP has plenty of those. I think he has used his money because it is what someone of his social/economic/intelectual level would do. This doesn't mean he would not have done it himself if there was no other choice.

Brad and Stef and the rest will not have to worry about taking Omega down, the tech market crash will do that for them. I realize they don't know it yet but Stef's belief that the market will go south is why they are moving out of that sector. Omega is ultimately on the line for literally over a billion dollars worth of deals in the tech market that all will be worthless. Generally, to operate in the defense industry you have to have large capital reserves to even be able to bid on military deals, at least for the US. When they take the beating that is coming to them in the tech market, the company may not have the reserves to go after the military contracts.

Since Mike is trying to stay out of his Mother's fight with Brad, he may well be unaware of the amount of resources that Brad's family has at their disposal. He may not understand that connection to Crampton Construction, which if I am not mistaken JP still has a 7.5 or 12.5 percent intrest in. Mike may not be aware of the construction company that JP/Isadoire owns and runs, from all accounts in earlier stories a major player in West Coast construction and real estate. While Stef's connection he may be aware of because they do share the last name and run the company together with Luke, does he realize how close they are and that Stef would spend his last franc to support Brad? Plus you don't move in that level of money and business in Ohio or California without have excellent contacts in Washington DC and that doesn't even include the connection to Senator Danfield. I think that Mike is seriously underestimating the amount of firepower that the " Family " can employee.

Keep the chapters coming...

If we're talking about Senator Danfield as a possible ally, you should really be addressing his handler/power broker/wife Mrs. Danfield. Sen. Danfield may not even be in the right committees or sub-committee and she's likely to have a much wider network to suit her ambitions. But would that mean making a deal with the devil? The videotape may not be enough to get her to go out of her way to help the Crampton/Schulter clan, who are probably not her favorite people after events of "Bloodlines".

Yes, but I wonder how he'll react when the chips are down, and she's struggling.

Sometimes, people don't realize what they have until they lose it. I think these guys finally got it.

You're right about the old money thing. Then again, the Carmichaels probably fall into that category too, and the Danfields certainly do.

Or maybe it's because semen would blend in with it, color wise? Next time you're eating a cream sauce, you may want to think about that. Posted Image
