Site Administrator Cia Posted December 19, 2010 Site Administrator Posted December 19, 2010 What in interesting story. It's fragmented and yet it makes sense in a twisted way. The only thing I'm not quite sure on was Tig. I get the sense Tig did not like Catherine at all. Yet your ending line about 'the face of god split open with grief' and the towel falling to the ground seemed to belie that. All in all as I ended my read of this story I could only say one thing with any certainity; you certainly have the disjointed, tripped out and fried mental processes of a drunk tweaker down pat!
Kev de Cauchery Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 As Cia said, the story was so fragmented that I was lost half way through the story, but I was lost pleasantly. I found it very interesting and am definitely going to read again. My take of Tig is that Tig was his stepdad but gay, so that also made him Sam's ex-boyfriend. I don't believe Tig hate Catherine, rather the other way around. I don't know tho. My mind is still swimming in the words.
Nephylim Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 Yes, of course it was disjointed. I would be surprised if it wasn't meant to be. Sometimes it was hard to follow, but then so is life, especially in those circumstances. I reckon Tig was an ex boyfriend who may not have liked Cathering but certainly liked her son
