Forgotten Story

I started a story a few months ago and have since forgotten the name of the story and where I found it.

 

The story began on a fancy submarine owned by a scientist who is quite rich. The only family he knows of is a son who lives with him on the sub. Both the father and son are highly intelligent. The story begins with father and son finding three long lost magical relics at the bottom of the ocean. The relics had been hidden there to keep magic out of the world. The boy may have lived before as a prince in the time of Merlin and magic, and as the story develops, it  adds two new characters, both young boys the same age, with same birth date as the son of the scientist.

 

I know more details, but is this enough to help someone remind me the name of the story and where it can be found?
