MLB, A-Rod Play Hardball

According to an article in today's New York Times, Major League Baseball and Alex Rodriguez are playing hardball and have called in the heavy hitters (attorneys and investigators) in the current arbitration over the punishment Rodriguez may receive for using banned substances.  Ambushing and threatening witnesses, offering bribes, buying stolen medical files - even sexual relations - are part of the game.

 

It stinks.

 

Baseball will be better off when both Alex Rodriguez and Bud Selig are no longer part of the game.

When theres ten of millions of dollars on the line, it's bound to get freakin' ugly. And I agree, A-Rod needs to pack his bags and disappear into obscurity.

   With his 200+ million salary, A-Rod's delivered exactly 1 World Series. I'm just saying.

You're right.  A-Rod never lived up to the hype.  The one World Series they Yankees won with him in the lineup probably would have still been won without him.  He wasn't Mr. October, like Reggie Jackson, and he wasn't as consistent as Jeter.  I think the Yankees wasted a lot of money by securing him and got a black eye in the process.
