Just came back from the store with a new cordless one and I double checked for spiders!!!!! As soon as the the not so small fire I set in the back yard is blazing, the above cure will be toast.

As @JamesSavik pointed out, it’s Spider Season again, and this question was asked on quora because it seems there are some people who aren’t sure if they ought to be scared of spiders and whether they should run off screaming every time they see one.

Here’s the most popular answer:

“Spiders… are truly alien in appearance.

They have 8… long (hairy)  legs.

Their body is divided into only 2 parts, with often a bloated, sac-like abdomen.

They don’t have a recognizable head, but when you look close, they have too many eyes.

They often have visible fangs and all are venomous

If you keep a clean house you won’t have many insect pests, but spiders always… get in.

The way they kill their prey is horrifying

Imagine being bitten and paralyzed. You are quickly wrapped in webs and then dissolved from the inside while alive!”
