LJH Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Is it possible that an asexual guy can have feelings for another man?
Rano Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Asexuality means "genderless-ness", devoid of sexuality. No, I don't think it is possible for such a person to be attracted to another.
Gene Splicer PHD Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Uh, my understanding is that "asexual" does not mean "devoid of sexuality". It means "not interested in sex". Wikipedia. LJH, yes, an asexual person can have romantic, affectionate feelings for another person while not being sexually attracted to them.

So if a character is asexual, then there must be a hell of a strong motivation for him to be attracted to a gay guy. Otherwise I will have to keep him from having intercourse and that defeats the objective. So maybe I should drop the asexual tag and stick to something like virgin?
Johnathan Colourfield Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Asexuality is a lack of 'sexual' attraction to anyone. However, an asexual guy/gal can fall in love, but isn't able to provide the physical side of the relationship
