Site Administrator Graeme Posted November 27, 2014 Site Administrator Posted November 27, 2014 (edited) I know this is probably only going to be of interest to the cricket fanatics, but Phillip Hughes was pronounced dead today, two days after being hit by a bouncer in a Sheffield Shield (Australian interstate competition) match two days ago. Phillip Hughes dies from head injury at age 25 My thoughts go out to not only Phillip's friends and family, but also to Sean Abbott, the bowler who's ball ended Phil Hughes' life. Slytherin Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 (edited) That is so sad ! RIP Phillip Hughes I don't know much about cricket I'm afraid. Poor Sean Abbot too, what a trauma for him Edited November 27, 2014 by slytherin
carringtonrj Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 Horrible story. Made me feel so sick for everyone involved. I love cricket. You so don't expect this kind of thing to happen in our sport.
Lisa Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 I read about this on MSN last night. It's horrible that this freak accident happened to him. I can't imagine how Sean Abbott feels; he'll carry this guilt around with him forever.
