Pmsingtiger Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 I'm trying to figure out how to use this club, and the forum, and everything else on this website. What is the difference between the clubs and the forum? I'll just start with that question because my brain is already leaking out of my head after lurking around aimlessly for about two hours and getting nowhere. 2
Brayon Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 Main Difference is that Clubs are private if they are closed. Only members can post and read topics in that club. For Example: The Writer's Club is a closed group, and it's intended purpose is for us writers to chat with each other, ask questions about writing, and other private matters just between us. It's so we as writers can work together to be a more cohesive team on the site. Some clubs are open, like the Poetry Club. Anyone can look at posts there. 1
Kitt Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 (edited) Forums, on the other hand, are open to all and can easily swing off on tangents. Conversations can and do mutate into something totally unrelated to the original topic. Edited June 3, 2018 by Kitt 2
Pmsingtiger Posted June 4, 2018 Author Posted June 4, 2018 There are so many options 😱 thanks for the help. 1
Larry Davis Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 To be honest, I don't know the difference between a club and a forum. All I know is that a forum is a place where like minded people share like minded perspectives 1 1
