I should have stayed in bed. I broke the vacuum and the dryer. :blushing:

Well, it's more like they died while I was using them. While vacuuming my bedroom it stopped out of nowhere, wouldn't turn on. I checked the plug, it was a little loose so I tried again, and it worked that time. Turned it off while I was wiping off the dresser, and it turned on by itself and wouldn't turn back off.

The dryer... well, I turned it on after the first load. Went back out when it buzzed, and everything was still wet. Ran it a second time, and yup. There's air, the tumbler is moving, but no heat.

On a positive note... as I said in an earlier posting, the appointment with the Vocational Rehab went well. They are going to help me long term with schooling, I just need to keep at least a C average. In the short term, they are going to help get into a part-time job doing Online Customer Service.

That it is. lol.

I don't know any reason to get 48 donuts. Except maybe for work. But I never liked my coworkers enough to do something like that.

There's another perspective on this.  Perhaps you were doing your co-workers a favor.  I'm going into old-fart mode now, so bear with me.  Remember when you commented that the members of the household weren't interested in your home cooking?  I didn't comment at the time, but my thought was that they were probably too used to eating worthless crap like Crispy Cremes to appreciate what you produced.  Eh?

Sounds like it's just the heating element which is not a bad fix.  My ex wife fixed ours for under 20 bucks a few years back

She watched YouTube to do it

Yup, that's what I would say. Their idea of cooking is open the box, and follow the instructions. And the ultra-nasty Hot Dog Mondays, because only one kid is a picky eater.

My Uncle said, "Frak it, I'll just buy a new one." He got this one used.

The washer died last week, used as well and came from the same place as the dryer, and he bought a brand new one from Lowes on a scratch and dent sale. $250, on a Maytag that normally goes for $450.

Triple Post!!!

Got the feedback to my paper last week... 19/20 points on it. 🙂

A, You did wonderful work with this assignment! The Points of View assignment explores your chosen social, political, or educational issue in which you have a strong opinion on through locating and analyzing credible and reliable research. Same-sex marriage is a great choice! You explain why each article is both reliable and credible, and critically reflect on whether your original opinions on the issue still hold true based on the data revealed in the chosen articles. You needed to be specific in your “standards of thinking” that were listed in our text -1. You met the 200-word count minimum. You did well with your overall reflection, analysis, and use of grammar in this assignment!

The part that made me go, Whaaat! Was the grammar. LOL 😯

Yup. Hot Dogs, Chicken Nuggets, is essentially all he wants. But he likes my non-box Mac-n-Cheese.

Yeah, that grammar's appalling. Did your teacher write that??

I've been going over my Tumblr, cause they're implementing new rules against NSFW content that will almost certainly get my arse banned forever. There is a lot of porn on my Tumblr. I haven't been there in years, basically, but holy hell, there's a lot. I'm gonna miss Tumblr. :P

Yes. I copied it directly from the private feedback she posted.

I'm going have to deactivate mine too. Way too much NSFW content.

Yup. But damnit if I'm not gonna back up as many of those pics as I can before then! Shame about the gifs, though...

...and now I'm super sad because I found the love poems carrington wrote for me a couple of years ago and he's vanished off the face of the net as far as I can tell. I mean, I did that back then, just vanished, so... Still. Sad. He's deactivated his Tumblr, even deleted all his content on here. My poem Truth was in response to those poems. I wonder what happened to him. Hope he's okay. Kind of want to cry now.
