As advertised, the first phase (Saturday) only produced four inches. It's been snowing hard for several hours now. With the temperature hovering just above freezing, it's hard to tell how much will hang around, but it's supposed to keep this up through tomorrow with up to a foot and a half. Up higher, the forecast is for multiple feet of snow over the next few days. I'm glad I don't have to go anywhere. 2 5 Link to comment

I was supposed to be vacationing in southern New Mexico this coming week, but things got canceled by my family on the other end. Edit: Speaking of not so nice birthday days, before I moved to the city, I got home to my train station to find my car tires frozen into a layer of icy snow. The only thing I had on hand to break them free was my windshield ice scraper. I broke said scraper chiselling my tires out of the snow’s frozen grip, which pissed me off because it was a really nice one I got from Canadian Tire. Needless to say, my planned birthday dinner at The Mandarin (Chinese Food) didn’t happen, because the weather was awful, so I was just happy to get home that night.
