Excuse me Good Sirs and DiC friends.

How has your day gone? 

My day has been one to forget. 

If it could go wrong it did go wrong. 

The job today had me pulled in a lot of different directions. 

Lunch break could not come fast enough. 

This was a low point of the day and i had to do something. 

Went out in the car and did some meditation 30 minutes of piece and quiet had me focused on what i could do. 

This simple act made the afternoon better. 

So hoping everyone has a good night and a better tomorrow.

Some days, I hate playing by the rules, only to get screwed. If you need me, I'll be over here crying in my Ben-and-Jerry's.

it was really good actually!
we're getting ready for our monthly visit from the CEO, so we had a work party to hang some new white boards in the conference rooms and de-clutter the lab space
i also met with my manager again to come up with new strategies for dealing with some of my engineers.....

I have always thought one requirement to get an engineering degree is to give up all common sense.

Take away all their tools. It limits how much trouble they can cause!

I have almost all the necessary ingredients to make baked oatmeal (I’m altering it a bit to make it with almonds, dried strawberries and dark chocolate chips ) and guess what I discovered? 

The 500 ml and 250 ml cartons (whole milk and cream) have been reduced to 437 ml and 237 ml, respectively. I didn’t check, but I’m thinking those size reductions are across all milk/cream types. Even the 1L carton was looking a little short in stature... 

Cheeky buggers reducing sizes while likely keeping the price the same.

I used raisins, cranberries and almonds cuz i had them. Yours will be lovely I'm sure and Wayne use dried mango and pineapple i believe.  I think you can use what you like in there.

Yep, dried mango/pineapple were my fruits used, and I used walnuts and pecans in place of the nuts the recipe had.

IT WAS SO GOOD.

It’s the Neilson brand that I bought. Perhaps, Sealtest and Natrel haven’t gone down that route yet?
