Hi, Page. He was just in about an hour ago as a matter of fact. He's doing well, but he won't let me pull a mat off his neck. He warned me in no uncertain terms to back off.

I made a very enjoyable veggie casserole for my lunch/supper. I grilled zucchini, mushrooms, and red peppers in a frying pan with olive oil, garlic and spices... cooked a quick little basil and mushroom tomato sauce (tomatoes, tomato paste, garlic, oregano... a few pinches of brown sugar and spices) in another frying pan... stacked veggies in casserole dish... added a few handfuls cold chick peas and handful of spinach throughout... sprinkled with Parmesan cheese... layered Swiss cheese on top with more Parmesan... and made crosses out of orange cheddar on top of that. Baked sixteen minutes at 350... broiler on high for about four... I ate the whole thing...

Just how big a casserole are we talkin'? Hopefully not a 9×13.

We're having fettuccine and Brussels sprouts with lemon-butter sauce and Parmesan cheese.     Yours sounds interesting, though.

Not sure what if anything we'll have. Mum had lunch out with friends and had a cup of ham and split pea soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. Far more than she normally eats at lunch so she's not hungry. I too, ate lunch out. I went to a nearby Brixx Pizza and ordered a rosemary chicken and wild mushroom pizza. Roast chicken with fresh rosemary, wild mushrooms, carmelized onions with gouda, mozzarella cheeses on an olive oil brushed crust baked in a woodfired oven. I didn't eat it all. If I should become hungry I'll eat what's left.

Ugh Christmas presents for my brother... All he asked are manga characters models. I can't even pronunciate the name of  and of course it won't be delivered until 4 to 14 January. 

Couldn't he be obsessed with something other than Japan and its culture, let say the queen of England, Spanish castanets, Swiss cheeses...
