It's amazing when we have to check on our parents. I mean when we are growing up, we think they are going to live forever. When they get older, I was doing most of looking after them, since I was the only one who wasn't married.  I knew I was an oops, but they loved me and I do miss them. 

Dennis' parents are only mid 50s. They love helping with their grandkids...

Things are good. We had tacos last night. Carne Asada braised in Dr. Pepper, with Oaxaca cheese and pickled veggies. Cilantro-lime rice on the side, and sopapilla cheesecake bars for dessert. Tonight, it's leftovers. Everything tastes better, because the flavors have had time to develop.

Still dealing with strikes (they've passed 40 days in a row). I didn't register to take carpoolers this week as it was the first time with the new car but strikes are good for my wallet in this case. I did the maths and taking on 1 passenger pays for the  gasoline, more passengers are just bonus  

Otherwise, nothing new, boring as can be
