Continued clearing out the final, badly overgrown, corner. That should be finished soon. There'll be another bonfire to get rid of all the brushwood. Should be the last big bonfire, though. Also started turning a bit of soil for my vegetable growing. 1 6

They've been limiting buying to one meat item per person for several weeks here. It wasn't crowded either and not much of a line to checkout. Even with the plant closures, there's no shortage of groceries. 7

Popular Post Marty Posted April 17, 2020 Popular Post Posted April 17, 2020 (edited) With the lockdown and social distancing, I am finding myself often not knowing what day of the week it is... When I remembered that today is Friday, I realised I hadn't taken photograph number 3 for the 52 out of 52 challenge I have set myself, to try and take one new black and white photograph each week over a full year. And the rules state that each week's photograph should be uploaded before midnight each Friday. As I type this, it is currently 23:25 hours. Due to the fact that I am currently, under Government covid-19 regulations, not supposed to leave the house or garden, I have limited choices of what to photograph at present. Page Scrawler Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 Just went grocery shopping this morning, and there was no visible change to the meat department yet, though the deli section has been partially closed for weeks now. 5

I’m not sure if that is panic buying, kids being home from school or a combination of the two. And in another story of justice, a guy paid a group of people to buy toilet paper and hand sanitizer requiring 138 separate trips to the store. He purchased over $10,000 worth of product and was trying to make a killing on eBay. They shut him down so he took the receipts and toilet paper back to the store but was told to go away.
