Very nice Page, it’s a good combo for tea and for salad (add some feta too)  

Its more soup weather here. When it cools down, like today, I have a hankering for pumpkin soup with sour dough toast

Saw two of my kids today. One brought me groceries and one bought me two big bags of cat food. I have too many cats.   And more on the way. 

This whole situation is weird... talking to my kids from a distance. I hate seeing them drive away, but I'm proud of how caring they are.  

 

Sent my new short story off to Tim to see what he thinks... hope y'all are doing well. You guys help keep me sane, even if I don't talk as much as I used to.

The whole situation is very weird but it’s good that the kids are driving by and chatting even if they can’t stay. Trying to explain it all to Dad was a surreal experience. I don’t think he really understands the reality of it all, I’m not sure I do and I'm living it.

It's Sunday morning here, and currently overcast with a temperature of around 10°C (50°F), and a forecast high of 15°C (59°F).

There was a bit of rain overnight, but I think it was no more than an April shower, and it's promised to be a dry day.

I reckon I should go out and face the day. But I need my second cup of coffee first.

Mont Saint-Michel. You can drive across a bridge, or walk across the sand at low tide, but the floodplain presents a quicksand hazard for pedestrians. At high tide, the water level climbs to 14 metres/46 feet, making it a naturally defended position. Because of this, it went unconquered during the Hundred Years' War.

@clochette should like this bit: farmers on the mainland coast love to graze their sheep in the nearby salt marshes. The butchered meat comes pre-salted due to the saline content of their diet!
