Satellite guy didn't come yesterday so I guess I'll have to make a phone call if I don't hear from him in the next hour or so. No sun today... still feels warm and muggy, though. Good afternoon, Gary! Well that's a bummer! Bet you were really looking forward to entertaining him (or visa versa). Let's hope he doesn't let you down again today. 2 5

Popular Post Bucket1 Posted May 28, 2020 Popular Post Posted May 28, 2020 Good evening everyone. Dad sounded so good. He loves the new place and the food is wonderful. He has been out for a walk and the food is wonderful. He has met some nice people and you guessed it, the food is wonderful. It explains why he was getting upset at the transition place, he knew it was only temporary but hated the tasteless mush they served there. 1 7

We renewed her SC State Parks Pass. We use it for beach access at Huntington State Park. Dropped by the local place we use for shipping packages. Needed to send my youngest step-neice's graduation card and gift. Then I took her to visit the local Barnes & Nobles bookstore to buy a new book. Got there just before they opened so there were very few folks in the store. From there we headed home again with a quick stop at Starbuck's for iced coffees. Now we're home and relaxing. 1 6

Hope you had a good night's sleep, and didn't suffer any nightmares with all that food in your belly... Eating one of those burgers would certainly give me nightmare inducing indigestion. Speaking of burgers, today is National Hamburger Day here in the US. 3 3
