But had two cramps😲 I'm not a fan of night cramps. Don't get them all often; maybe once every month or so. But occasionally I can get a leg cramp that's so painful that I have to get out of bed and physically stand up and stretch the muscle to make it go away. Edited February 2, 2021 by Marty typo 5

Although personally I try not to have too much fluid intake before bed. I also try to avoid too many sugary foods after about 5:00pm. One of the affects of type 2 diabetes is that my sleep can be broken by trips to the toilet for a pee, if I don't manage it correctly. 6

I had then for ages... it was so excruciating I was worried about going to sleep. Once I started drinking lots of water(three litres per day), they went away... completely. Yes, I have to pee more, but I'd rather that than cramps! 3 3

Yes, I have to pee more, but I'd rather that than cramps! I probably drink around 3 litres of water per day. Just seldom drink it raw, though. But I slow down the intake after around 5:00 pm. If the cramps became very frequent I'd reconsider that. I'd also talk to my GP as well. 6

Popular Post Marty Posted February 2, 2021 Popular Post Posted February 2, 2021 (edited) I can certainly feel the stretch on the evenings. It was after 5:30pm today before it got too dark for me to work outside. I hope tomorrow, weather permitting, to actually start the tidying up the boundary hedge, and the remaining ivy overhanging the end of the stone wall at the far end the garden. I took a few photos from outside the garden today showing the wall and the hedge. They will form part of my "Before and After" record of this project. I haven't downloaded them from the phone yet, though. But when I do I'll post one or two of them here. That won't be done for a few hours, however, as I have a Zoom session starting in less than 45 minutes, and I want to grab something to eat first. Oh, Cod! Zoom... Stuffed chicken breasts and an as of yet undetermined veggie. Because of the impending Zoom meeting, I raided the freezer for a portion of homemade bolognaise sauce, and boiled some spaghetti. Quick and easy. 3 2 1
Popular Post Marty Posted February 2, 2021 Popular Post Posted February 2, 2021 (edited) Here's a view from the outside of my upper garden, showing the ivy that still remains on top of the high stone wall. Most of you will remember that the whole of the top of that wall was overgrown like that a little less than twelve months back. I hope to start clearing that last bit tomorrow. The road used to be a foot or two higher. When the modern old-folks home (which was behind me as I was taking this photograph) was being built about 12 years ago, the road was lowered. Hence the walkway up to the door in the wall leading into my garden. Edited February 2, 2021 by Marty 3 5
