I just completed chapter 11 of my new story, but my eyes are too tired to read it over. It's been a long day. Good night, all!

Good night Gary.  Sleep well.

Good afternoon from Chiang Mai! Sawasdee Khrup!🙏  Hope you have a great day.  Blue sky and a predicted 29 degrees Celsius  here in Thailand.  A bit cool, but it is winter here.

29° a bit cool?! albert and his frozen feet will get a rise out of this :gikkle:

The Thai people put on heavy coats, mittens, gloves and scarves during the winter season when the mornings and evenings are in the 18-19 degree Celsius.  They can't understand why I run around in shorts and short sleeve shirts during this season.  What was amazing to me is when they said that they were cold, they would grab my arm.  Their hands were cold!  They would then ask me why I was so warm.  Growing up in the Cascade Mountains, I guess both body and mind now have wired in responses different from my Thai friends. My other friends from Germany, Denmark, the UK and USA say the same thing.  How are things going with you?  Did you finish your exams yet?

Yeah I experienced something similar when I went to Barcelona on a school field trip. It was in early March but it was almost 20°. When we arrived we saw people with heavy coats on but we were in tshirt and some even went swimming!

Exam are... going. Another one today which is the last one for this week. It rised quite some problems as first it's a big class so this exam should have normally taken place on the official week in January but the professor decided to do it like those we take on class (there will be no official copy to write on we have to bring our own, there won't be enough space to leave one sit between people...). The administrationwasn't even aware of the situation. Plus yesterday we learned that the people who can't be present because of covid (being either positive or contact) will have 3 days to drop it online and so obviously will be able to use their notes and have way more time than our 2 hours). Thanks for asking.

I wish you a nice day

Oh clochette you just gave me a big belly laugh.  At 20 degrees our local pools are closed for the season.  When I was a child, that would be considered a heated pool.

It does seem to be a bit unfair, OK more than a bit that some students get more time than others.  I understand the adjustments for Covid, but in all fairness, they should be made available for all students also. I hope the administration learns about this and takes corrective measures to make this OK for all students.  To move an exam up and then extending the time for some students is just bad planning from the professors.  Unfortunately, I can understand that because it happened to me when I was taking university classes.  Hang in there.  Like I said before, take a well deserved rest over the holidays.

Have you ever lost a story review??? It just happened to me when I wrote one for "Chrisis". That is so frustrating!  Now I need to calm down a bit so I can rewrite it to be best of my ability and failing memory.😡 Woops, My memory is definitely gone and not just failing.  I did the review on Boxed In: A Christmas story, Chrisis is on my next to read list.😊 Hope you all have a Boxed In Christmas with the one you love and who loves you.  You might see a few more of these if Gary's other Christmas stories inspire me.

They do the same thing here in the southern US.
