Bûches are done and in the freezer! Yes you read it right I manages to make 4 smaller ones (about a quarter of the bigger one) with what was left of the mousse from the big one  They'll stay in there until the morning of the 24th.

So now no more excuse to escape ugh I meant focus on schoolwork... sigh

Max's ballet group had their seasonal performance today, and now they'll be on break until January. It was lovely to watch.

And while we are at it, where are the mini hamper wrappings I bought last week. Cute box, cellophane and ribbon all ready to go and now I can’t find them  

Two days left at home then heading down south for some cooler Christmas weather. We are trying to be better at only bringing enough food for the week we are there - last year was a bit crazy with food for a month
