Yummy. I like the idea of a jambon-buerre as I haven't eaten yet today. I'm coping with another nasty migraine. Seems I've gotten into a 7-day cycle. Every weekend so far this year has brought a migraine.

Just got back from brunch at Brasserie Amie. My son....ate escargot. He ate snails! SNAILS! I mean, I'm happy that he's adventurous and likes to try new foods, but why, OH WHY did it have to be snails?! 

I have tried them and not been over excited. Not gross but not worth a repeat.

The garlic sauce that was with them was rich and tasty and definitely worth adding to something else but snails… didn’t seem worth it

And trying new foods is a good thing. Yes sometimes you discover things that you don’t like but other times you find awesome yummies.

It is a great story so far.  I am at the part where Trevor is traveling the Mediterranean with his straight friend Joel.  It is fun to read about Joel teaching Trevor how to be gay.
