It was a unicorn-themed party, and the cake had a unicorn horn on a two layer cake, so I guess they were supposed to be horse ears, but they looked like cat ears to me... and the eyes on the side of the top layer were closed eyes with long lashes... strange... but colorful. Tasted good.

I am putting the story into an ebook so I can read it offline and doing a bit of cutting and pasting... just saw a comment by Tobyn the Dense... took me right back to reading the first time. I was sooooo polite in my story comments... sooooooo polite

I told them I wanted to take a week off before hubby goes back to work since the new job will not afford vaca right away.  dugh, you should have seen the look of panic on boss mans face!

Hi all,

Grey and blue sky with 6℃, we're expecting more snow, about 10cm (lets just say everyone is in panick and there'll be no buses) tomorrow afternoon and night and Wednesday.

I'm supposed to drive back to the apartment tomorrow morning but if I happen to run late and there's snow maybe I can get a week off

Thanks, B.    It was a snowy, cold day, but all my kids made it. My new grandson was with his father for the weekend so he couldn't be there, but his mom was. The baby bump is getting bigger.
