I have the worst gag reflex imaginable. I can barely get x-ray's done at the dentist. It's a major ordeal, but I learned at my current dentist, if you put salt on your tongue, it will prevent the gag reflex from kicking in. They even have a little jar of salt they can give you to put some on your finger and then place that on your tongue. I have to have that every time. 8
