Did you have a lot of work to catch up? I hope not much work, since you probably need to get more rest and less stress right now. I don't know about recovering, but I am feeling better in some ways. Physically everything is healing as it should according to the doctors, although the headaches can be excruciating and moving can still cause pain in my ribs, it is lessening with time. My sleep pattern is all over the place and disturbed as I refuse to take pills to help me sleep, but I may rethink that. There was nothing much for me to catch up on with work, my friend Martin and his wife have done an excellent job looking after my contracts. It is a good thing as I'm having trouble concentrating on anything which is frustrating. I think they have earned a good bonus. I got emotional yesterday when I had a visit from a couple of the project workers, they brought a few letters and homemade get-well cards from some of our regular guests which got t me a bit, it's made me feel more determined to get past this and back to normal. I know I'll need some help so maybe seeing my therapist is going to be part of my new normal. I'm just hoping they don't remove me from the T-list. I've got the first of my follow-up appointments next week, hopefully, they will go well 🤞 7

Are you one of those people who get your Christmas shopping done months ahead? I am sooo envious. Hope you have a great time with your grandma! Oh no I usually wait until early December for my Christmas shopping but the coupons create the opportunity (and it's best to have winter shoes before Christmas right? ) 1 4

I do understand being wary of sleeping pills but also feel that you need good rest to heal. I am glad you are rethinking the situation. Martin and his wife sound like very good people and loyal friends. The letters and cards were special and it is nice to know that you are motivated to get past this. I had a therapist help me for several years, and know that help like this can be a godsend. I do wish you the best of luck with the appointments for the T-list. It seems to me that the problem you had is irrelevant to being on the T-list. Keep us updated please. 7

I almost walked into a skunk in my barn early this morning. I leave the inside barn door propped open about six inches for the cats to squeeze through, and he was partway through. He didn't spray because the barn doesn't smell, but I ran the hell out of there. My mare and the cats had to wait. Sleeping is still an issue for me. 4 1

No I haven't heard from him yet today, he'll pop up eventually crying about being bullied and threatening to kill all the Steve Irwin (or however they're called) turtles in Australia. 2 hours ago, Page Scrawler said: I imagine the cats will be armed with water pistols. Pagey, I don't think cats like those confetti things either. But if he just sends the cats on their own, that's menacing enough. 6
