Clearly the actual method isn't efficient enough so is there another one? What are the best ranking countries doing? So so many questions... But yeah doing a study on the way reading it taught worldwide would be sooo interesting! Maybe if one day I get bored of teaching I'll switch to research You asked some excellent questions. The answer to the first two, IMO, is to recognize each child learns differently and give them different ways to learn and show what they have learned is a manner that fits them. The answer to the third question is complicated. Korea is one of the highest ranking in the world, but it is probably because their alphabet is purely phonetic, block letters, and the grammar doesn't use different word forms. I do hope you get the opportunity to teach abroad. It is very rewarding. 6

Albert1434 Posted December 13, 2023 Posted December 13, 2023 Here is a description of the image you sent: A Joshua tree. Joshua trees are native to the southwestern United States, primarily in California, Arizona, Utah, and Nevada. They are known for their distinctive shape and can grow up to 40 feet tall. They are also known for their long lifespan, with some trees living for over 500 years. Joshua trees are an important part of the desert ecosystem, providing food and shelter for a variety of animals, including birds, insects, and mammals. They are also a popular attraction for tourists visiting the region. There on the edge of extinction! 3
