We're doing well. We made lots of cookies today. Lemon curd thumbprint cookies, brandy snaps, snickerdoodles, and maple-pecan cookies, just to name a few.

Oh, and Max's ballet troupe had their performance today. Some of the cookies were still cooling when we left the house to get ready. It was a lovely display, and Max landed every....cue? Is that the right word for a dance routine? Anyway, there wasn't a single misstep, and I loved watching every minute of it. We ate at Pepe Nero afterwards. A bit expensive, especially with the impending holiday, but Max deserved a treat after a job well-done.

Your son's a remarkable dancer, and your pride in his accomplishments is very evident. His performance, reward and spending time with his dads will create memories worth much more than the expense.
