It's 27 in the apartment even during the night despite sleeping with the window open. We're expecting a little storm front tomorrow with a drop of temperatures in the mid 20 which will be much more bearable. Looping seems to enjoy having a water bowl with icecubes and the wet food pouches stored in the fridge Edited July 30 by clochette 5

dughlas Posted July 30 Posted July 30 Today is a return to the usual warmth and humidity and in a day or so a return to dangerous heat indices. This morning after we returned from breakfast I spread a few bags of mulch and pruned one last shrub. Then mum and I sat in the shade and enjoyed the early sea breeze for a bit. Now after the second shower of the day I am kicked back to relax a bit hoping that my morning endeavours don't trigger a migraine. If all goes to plan tonight for dinner we'll have cheese tortellini tossed with sauteed zucchini, red bell pepper, onion and cherry tomatoes. 5

The two cats are sprawled out under my Alberta Spruce tree. The stone slab patio doesn't get much sun. 6

That's what has made me tired, I've been at the hospital all afternoon. Now I'm there every other day, so three times one week then four the next. It's tiring and depressing, but now I have new chapters of your story to look forward to. 2 4
