I just finished making a batch of shrimp scampi roll-ups   I know it's early, but I'm going to have some for lunch, then freeze about half of them for work lunches or dinners.    It warmed up today and is now raining.  A perfect day to putter around the house and cook and write.

IDK.  I miss the days of 15 or more stacked like cord wood in my uncle's 3 bedroom farm house, kids all in sleeping bags on the great room floor, cots set up in the basement reck room and even in the gun room ( basically a oversized closet with poured concrete walls and a door salvaged from a turn of the century bank vault)

 

I dont really know how to cook holiday for two!

@dughlas, is it cracked or loose? Or just acting weird?  If it is the latter try taking the battery out for 5 minutes then rebooting.  My phone went flaky last tight too, would absolutely not let me answer an incoming call.  Then it would not send the call to voice mail, and would not shut off either!  I took the battery out after five minutes of trying to get it to do SOMETHING other than ring off the hook.  When I felt I could try again without throwing it against the wall I reassembled it and it has been fine since.

 

 

Especially if we are pissed off!

Turns out the screen was cracked. Mum replaced as an early Christmas prezzie but ... Arrrrrrrghhhhh ... a lot of my contacts did not reload.
