I believe the nausea will pass once you're off the pain meds. At our age we need to appreciate any stiffness we can raise ... even if it's an arm. The fact you could do your exercise is a good sign. Blue is mum's favorite color. She says wait to see the kaliediscope of color yet to come. Patience bro, you'll get your look soon enough. I just hope the doc used the good bionic implants ... afterall, you want to be better, stronger, faster ... 😧 ... no bionics? Damn! With the bad weather they've been very few here too... Sunday one was slowly walking in round the garden, I helped her to the flowers but it seemed like she had no energy to fly

I saw two bumble bees working on the lupin flowers outside my backdoor today. But usually by this time of the year I would be expecting to see more.

Here's a Scientific American article from November 2018 that looks at the decline in insect numbers worldwide:

Some of it is not very encouraging reading.

When the strawberry plants were full of flowers and it was warmer I saw bees and bumble bees around but not as much as the previous years. 

And so why I had to hand pollinated the zucchini which is visibly growing nicely every day
