I read an article this morning small children are generally not fond if bearded men. They do however view them as strong. Apparently beards hide most facial expressions excepting those related to anger. Once children reach puberty their opinion changes and they view beards much more favorably. Perhaps there is still hope for you Marty.

We're leaving on holiday this weekend. This weekend! I thought I still had another week. Only 3 days to tidy and clean bedroom (I'm a bit ashamed to admit currently you can just open the door and access the closest corner of the bed ) and find/wash/iron clothes, find hiking boots (shouldn't be too hard to find, last I remembered they still smell of cow shit for the last 8 or so years despite being wash multiple times!.

We're going to my cousin's. She bought a 5 bedrooms house in the mountains near Grenoble. I've found a cool app for hiking with details of the trails, pictures, comments and it can act as a GPS. I've already marked a little hike around a circus with waterfalls.
