Please don't overdo things and having a relapse. If I feel too tired, one of my friends will take me back to the hotel. 16 hours ago, BendtedWreath said: I immediately thought the same thing as everyone else about pushing yourself too hard. It's happened to me more than once that I'd think I was in the clear for a healed injury only for it to give out on me again. Don't think Ill have any injuries sitting down, but I might get tired. I'm even bringing a stool because my feet never touch the ground. 2 3 1 Quote

I had to sacrifice the formatting in the process, but it might actually read easier for some readers that way. I've been dividing my time fairly well these days on the Lust Series comic's first season and some other projects I won't mention yet. 2 4 Quote

Popular Post Thirdly Posted December 22, 2025 Author Popular Post Posted December 22, 2025 12/22/2025 Update: Hey, everyone. I'm alive, and the way things are going in my country, not detained without a valid reason yet. Not gonna lie, I am living stress levels far beyond those of the pandemic some years back. A Maryland-born citizen, Dulce, was detained because she spent some time in Mexico. The family provided a copy of her birth certificate, and her lawyer verified the hospital records to affirm that she was indeed born in Maryland. But ICE still refuses to release her. Why does this concern me? Back in the 70s and 80s, hospital staff would still hand-write birth certificates. All manner of typos and incorrect information would be scribbled there, especially if they were short-staffed or rushed. Hell, the name of my own mother is still misspelled on my birth certificate. Back then, it was also easy for a person to misplace the original birth certificate of their child because the doctor's offices always asked for the ORIGINAL certificate to scan and copy. And, often times, they would give back the COPY and filed away the original in their records without realizing it. I have no doubt in my mind that's what happened to the original birth certificate, that it became filed in some doctor's office somewhere. Can someone ask for a new original copy to be sent to them? Yes, but the delay is usually months long to receive it. Dulce's lawyer did the next best thing and went directly to the hospital to verify the hospital records. Yes, Dulce's name was in there for the same birth year. Because of these mishaps, the fact that Dulce spent some time in Mexico, and the fact that she is of a darker skin tone than her biological sister... she is still being detained. This is where we are at right now. I myself am NY-born and I do have my updated original birth certificate (misspelled mother's name and all). But I've been writing to my local Senator to see what can be done for Dulce, as her (equally American-born) children are always going to remember this as the Christmas their own government failed them. So, if I up and disappear for three years, you'll know why, it's because I did not go gentle into that good night. 1 4 1 Quote
Popular Post Thirdly Posted January 16 Author Popular Post Posted January 16 1/16/2025 Update: So, they released the poor Maryland-born mom last week. But in another part of Maryland, they captured a mom who had a kid dying of cancer, and even though the dad asked for her to be released temporarily to say goodbye to their son, they didn't release her. That's downright cruel, as even in our jail systems, prisoners are allowed funeral furlough or compassionate release when it comes to something that dire. These are dark times, Lady Liberty. Dark times. 1 5 Quote

Dark times. Yes, the election claim about only getting rid of the criminals and dangerous people proved to be a lie. The things that are happening to these people is horrendous. In addition to the story you mentioned, people are being shot, others are dying in detention, and the condition of the places they're being sent to are overcrowded, unsanitary, and I've heard stories that there's not enough food or medical aid to take care of everyone. Disgraceful. 1 4 Quote

Popular Post Thirdly Posted February 12 Author Popular Post Posted February 12 (edited) 1/25/2026 Update: 1. I would like to know who was behind measuring seats on busses over here in the US. My legs are left dangling every time. Doesn't matter the seat. That irritates my beaten up tendons unless I use my bag as a buffer to then sit on the edge so my feet can touch the ground. 2. I have been having the best time at the expense of a new male coworker and his pseudo romance with our pale blond AF down to his lashes male coworker. I hope he's been letting words like "that beautiful man training me" slip around me on purpose because his gaydar recognized my own gayness. Because, if not, I will feel so bad overhearing him talking to himself all over the place. 🤣 At least I know that he knows I don't judge. Edited February 18 by Thirdly 1 4 2 Quote

Popular Post Thirdly Posted February 18 Author Popular Post Posted February 18 2/17/2026 Update: So, I kind of busted both my left and right leg tendons (and yes I spoke to @CassieQ, girl saved my life the first 3 days). I am prickly with pain, but I refuse to take pain killers until night time. I have also lost all patience with people. Zero patience. Patience has packed up and is currently enjoying a vacation in Puerto Rico, which I envy so hard right now... I also miss hammocks. Just all the hammocks. 4 2 Quote

Well, that along with my shitty liver. I am still trying to wrap my head around how my nasal spray nearly immobilized my calves, but they told me to stop using it, and as soon as I stopped, the swelling began to go down. In completely unrelated news, I just learned something incredibly odd about myself.
