Jack Scribe
Here is a link to nine stories (eight are complete) by this exceptional, U.K.-based author. The historical detail of Mike Arram's mythical European culture of Rothenia is quite special. http://iomfats.org/storyshelf/hosted/arram/. Enjoy. Jack Link to comment
Coming Undone
Hey Jack You are 100% correct, Mike Arram is an outstanding writer. I absolutely loved 'Chev Prince" and "Son of Chev Prince" great stories. BTW I had just left his web page to come here just before I saw your post. I guess great minds think alike huh? Rabble_Rouser
Mike gets my nod also... You gotta love an author who isn't just challenged with coming up with original and engaging stories but decides to challenge himself by writing a 3 story series and have each story use a completely different genre (The Henry series). Anyways, a new chapter of Count Oscar is out so I'm off to read... Steve Link to comment
PaulP
I'm a long-time fan of Mike Arram's writing. The Count Oskar chapters are showing up first on CRV Boy, BTW. Link to comment
Guest RettaMichaels
Mike Arram's work is really good. The way he challenged himself in using the characters to build upon the other stories is something I liked. The believability of the characters is something I enjoyed. Interestingly, when I first read "Henry", I was purplexed and wondering where he was going with it. And then, I read the second chapter and was captivated all through the trilogy. Now, we're getting more and I'm all the happier for it. He's high on my list of recommended authors. Link to comment
