Very nice breakdown of the features/pros/cons. My parents, to this day, still can't use mouse well, so maybe the new interface has some merits to them (I am crossing my fingers it'll be easier to train them than regular Windows interface). It looks like it's not for me though. I also open files the way you do, drag icon into the program icon. I edit my photos day and night, so to me it's much more productive to group the photos I want and drag them all together into whatever the software I am using at the time. I also copy and paste my files this way between Windows (drag and hold files and click on ALT+Tab at the same time to switch windows). Love the "Run..." command always on. Wonder if Win7 Ultimate would go down in price.

I also saw the speech (I missed the game). Incredibly emotional. I don't usually follow sport, but gosh, it made me wanted to watch the entire game. Even though Murray lost, but that sportmanship at the end made me really admire him. I could understand the pressure..., to represent his country under that circumstance. I think I would cry too, if I felt I had let people down. Though I am sure nobody will blame him. Federer is a long time champion and has had much more experience, so the game was well-played. Hat-off to the champion in the spirit. Now, I wish I could find a gentleman like him....

I neither admit nor deny such allegation. I wonder how you guessed that, doc. Sure, Ashi and Anderson both start with A, so oops, too much hint.... Seriously though, I don't think you'll catch Anderson Cooper wearing a t-shirt with the word "Squirt" on it. That's just too much.... I don't think AC is Asian. In any case, if AC was fired by CNN (I doubt it), then he can start his own syndicated show like Ellen. He doesn't need to rely on CNN. He is already famous and rich. It's a brave decision he made. I still believe the opinion of his family is much more important to him than whatever strangers think of him.

I like old movies. Movies from 50's or 60's are really good (and I am younger than you). Late 90's to 2002 are also good, but anything in between and most of the current offerings are lackluster in script quality, despite of better technology and advancement in film making techniques. Paul Newman in Sweet Bird of Youth was hot also. Anyways, back to the main topic. Channing Tatum.... I really love the guy ever since he was in his modeling days. The guy is really cool. Just some thought and fantasy. I don't think I would ever date my fantasy guys, even if I had the chance.... Separation of lust and love. But he is pretty close to the type I might consider crossing the line (probably won't work, but whatever...).

Cool. It might be a promo for the mall also. I went to Reno once, and a mall nearby was holding such event for Christmas and firework is exactly what they did. But in any case, it's really cool to see something like this when you didn't expect it to happen. BTW, every nerds know there are 256 shades of gray, not 50....

Wow, so nice of you to share your recipe. I'm going to try it out when I am back from vacation. :-) I can share some of my recipes, too, if you want them. :-)

Will Smith is gay? Just kidding. Like PrivateTim, I think Cooper Anderson wasn't even hiding. He was not ashamed of it. He just didn't feel there is a need to announce it. It'll just affect his private life (like people keep asking stupid gay questions like, "What does it feel like growing up as a gay kid," or "who are you dating?" None of their business!). Whether people know he is gay or not, he is still himself. I think gay people will be happier if people don't treat us like strange.... I think those who are in their career with strong position, it shouldn't affect them detrimentally. It's some of us who are expendable the employer will find any reason to get rid of.... Being gay is just a very convenient excuse to be released from work.

LOL. But it's the worst kept secret. Everyone just assume I am gay when I didn't admit nor deny anything to them.... Same for Cooper Anderson, Ricky Martin and David Hyde Pierce. It's already treated as truth without the person's nod, so why bother deny it. If they really aren't, they should just say it like Orlando Bloom did. At such stage of the rumor, if they're gay and admit it, at least they'll get a stronghold audience from gay community, despite it's a smaller fan base than the general public. Deny it, they'll get no loyal audience from gay or straight people (because straight audience already assumed they're gay and if they're haters, they'll just hate even if it's just speculation). The impact and dilemma, if his situation is similar to what I went through, is how his friends and family would treat him, not someone unrelated to him like fans.

Parking is abundant and free in most places (except in really large cities..., so those are the only places where public transportation are popular), freeway is very well developed. I don't know about other places, but in California, everything is very spaced out, so unless you have a car, it's very inconvenient to go anywhere. Our population density isn't like London or other major cities around the world. Well, people should realize privatization doesn't mean lower price. It's competition that drives down the price and drive up quality.

That might be the thing. They probably picked some nice looking people because that'll definitely give a boost to the audience. Daniel Levya, one of the guys guaranteed a spot, it's pretty nice looking (he also got some model shots from GQ, which he Twit about). John Orozco and Jonathan Horton are pretty good looking also. Too bad they're short.... Wait, why are we talking about their looks? This could give some credibility to those crazy religious fanatics' claim. LOL! Anyways, those crazy people certainly know some of our mindsets.... Wonder why....

Oh, BTW, Methodwriter. The British bar nearby (which is one of the participating restaurants for the event) played One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful" and I was almost LOL! You gotta be here. My hometown is hosting gymnastics try-out for Olympics. Today is men's final. Though I couldn't afford a ticket ($100+, if you want a good seat), but I still went to HP Pavilion with my camera. It turned out there were some event hosting at the park next to it as a pre-show event. Many people went. For some reason, some religion people with their picket signs showed up. You know, the kind that tells you you're going to h*ll unless you believe in Jesus Christ. And of course, the hate sign.... I think it had the words fornication and homosexual on it. Of all days, they picked the men's gymnastics final to do their protest.... For crying out loud, there were lots of kids in that event. Shame on them for corrupting our youth. OMG.... Where is the family value? (in case you haven't noticed..., I am being sarcastic) Fortunately, I didn't wear my purple t-shirt, because there was another guy wore the same one.... That would be TRULY embarrassing. Instead, I wore an orange ringer that says Lake Tahoe or Bust. That probably made me look borderline straight, or at least confusing, so I wasn't attacked by Jesus-loving haters. On the other side of the fornication sign, it said, "I love to forgive." Cool, because I love to forgive, too. Most of the time.... Honestly, if there weren't so many kids and police around, I would go up and ask them if they would forgive people like me. I really would love to see their faces. I hope I didn't look too straight to them. I think my camera had some magical power. When I pointed my camera at them, one of them felt shameful and his picket sign went flaccid. Round One: Camera 1, Picket fence 0. Next time I should use a Holga (mine is the version with monkey sticker on it), then I'll really teach them the power of Homo Lomo. On the brighter side. I think men's gymnastics pulled a lot of guys out of their closets Silicon Valley computer desks. I really didn't expect so many guys to show up. Many wore shorts so they showed their nice gymnasts look-alike calves. Fortunately I hike a lot so my own calves didn't embarrass me. I know.... so vane.... There were two guys went together, and wore the same t-shirt. Don't know what it said in the front, but the back said, "the hardest sport in the world" with the word "hardest" in red print.... I don't know..., but I think they might be fornicators in the eyes of Jesus.... I know... I am rambling..., please forgive me. But I am so excited because it's my first gay pride parade.... Wait..., it's men's gymnastics final.... Oops.

CassieQ said it. The automobile industry lobbied the U.S. government that's why the railway system was pretty much killed. I've been in Philadelphia area, and the mass transit there is okay. NY's system is really dirty and old. DC's metro is really good. None of them compare to Europe's in term of efficiency. SF Bay Area's system is bad. The BART's extension to San Jose has been talked about like forever (two decades at least), but at least it looks like it might happen.... (*cross fingers*). The high speed rail system, well, we pass the measure TWICE. The politicians killed people's votes first time, so we voted it again, saying yes, we don't mind a little sales tax increase, but the politicians will find another way to kill it, and then blame it to California's current state of economy.... SF's bus system is fine, but MUNI buses are very old. San Jose's bus system is very broken. It has the newest bus fleet you'll ever see (they replace buses like every three years or something, basically the buses are newer than my car), free Wi-Fi onboard also, but almost nobody takes it (usually just one or two people on a bus, sometimes you'll see a bus shows "out of service" on top, because nobody is using it). The route system is just terrible. From my home to the university I went to, I need to transfer twice before I could get somewhere.... Very inconvenient. The less people take it, the less likely they'll expand the network, and less likely people will take the bus.... Negative spiral. They really should just decrease the size of the bus, and increase the frequency to stop and expand the route. The only redeeming value for our system is they're very clean inside. With gas price increase, BART get a lot of ridership (it was not enough people to ride on it before, and BART constantly complained about not able to break even. BART is privately owned). So what they do is increase the price of ticket and charge $1 for parking your car at a BART station on week days. If you calculate the total price to ride the BART, it's the same as riding CalTrain, and the same as driving, if you go from South Bay to San Francisco. They really do know how to discourage people from using public transportation. If you have two or more people going to SF, it's cheaper to car pool. You'll likely to take MUNI bus in SF also, so that's extra $2 per ride. If you're going to downtown area, probably it's worth a while to ride a train or BART because you don't need to find a parking (and parking in SF is expensive), but elsewhere where parking is free, driving is cheaper and gives you the freedom to go several places without paying for ride a MUNI. People who need these public transportation system are people who cannot drive or someone who cannot afford to own a car. Basically our public transportation functions as a poor man's tax. And if you live in a low income area, your car insurance is astronomically higher (car insurance rate is based on zip code). Most low-income people around here have two or three minimum wage jobs (or they cannot afford to live here), but I really don't know how can they manage to waste time on waiting for buses between shifts.
