  1. ROTFLMAO!!!!! That was so funny! Makes you wonder what else she used that shovel for?
  2. Bullwinkle was such a sweet little doofus.
  3. Awww you are no fun!
  4. I was born in a large city on the east coast. I grew up, however, in a small town (800) on the west coast and then spent my teen summers in a burb around Washington DC. Now I live outside a medium city in the Pacific NW. I have to say that I think as an adult with the hunting/fishing/camping hobbies we have, the country would be ideal. Unfortunately we will never get to move back. The only things to do as a kid was to drink, do drugs and other nebulous activities. I want my kids to have positive activities and outlets close by so I am pretty sure we will stick by the city. After all, the country is only an hour and a half away.
  5. I had the best truck ever. Dodge Ram 2500 Supercab with a V10 engine. Too bad I slammed it into a rocky embankement at 60 mph. Can we say completely totaled?! Thank goodness I didn't have to be cut out of the car from that car accident.
  6. My hubby has an ecodrive and I have a ESQ, both really nice watches but we never wear them. Him cause of work and me cause it broke 3 years ago and I am too lazy to fix it. Cell phones rule except I keep washing them, (like 4 in 3 years) they need to make them washing machine proof.
  7. OMG, my day was getting sucky then I read this thread. You guys are hilarious! Thanks for the laughs. Rilbur, I literally had to use my inhaler after your post, lol. I could not stop laughing.
  8. LOL, I never thought about that song with those connontations before. I have to agree, Disney is full of dirty dirty minds. Just look at all the "errors" that have made it into movies/cover art! We had the original Little Mermaid movie case, that was hilarious.
  9. I posted to this story under sneak peeks. I liked it a lot but you said last night there were pov issues. I still hope you finish it even if it does disturb some others.
  10. LOL, I so hear you, Nephylim!!! I knew there was a reason I like being on this site so much. But y'all forgot the most basic reason of all I think. Life is short so: WHY NOT??????
  11. Lol, I love Kevin from Ben-10 too, just the right mix of bad boy-sweetie pie. I also like Yusei from Yu-Gi-Oh. Thank goodness for having kids to watch these cartoons so I don't seem like a total perv for knowing them
  12. LOL, I was watching the Simpsons this evening. It was a spoof of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Funny scene about shooting someone with sexual innuendo got me thinking. I'll play it out for you. Homer: Watching you do another man is so hot! Marge: Maybe sometime I can see you do a man? Homer: That could be arranged. So, my question is: What cartoon character would you DO or be DONE by? Going back a few years, I would have to say Lion-O from Thundercats. I always loved the skin tight jumpsuit and slightly cat features. I just wanted to feel up his muscles and make him purr! So, share your toon fantasy!!
  13. Did we get an answer to this? I might actually share for the first time, I just don't want to post a ridiculously small story, we all have different ideas of short stories. Oh, and any idea of a timeline yet? Thanks Cia
  14. I think that as much support as breastfeeding gets these days, it is still thought of as "dirty". I can't count the number of funny looks I got even when I was completely covered, not only from strangers but family in my own home! Add in most people's bias about basic men vs. women roles, probably why this gets the squidgy reactions. It does create an incredible bond and has its advantages over formula but it is hard and an incredible commitment. Not to mention just plain hurts for a month or so Still, I am glad I made it a year each time I did it.
  15. Corny much, but I Swear, the country version by John Michael Montgomery. First dance with my man and he sang it to me. I still get that stupid sappy smile and the warm tinglies every time I hear it. He sure got lucky that night. Not to knock the Boyz 2 Men version, just prefer the country one.
  16. I like the story. I think that Logan's bombshell is going to cause some damage to their relationship, since all the crap that Nick is pulling hasn't made Jess ditch him yet. Wish he would, I like Logan he is all sensitive to all of Jess's stuff . Awww, emo... Luis seems jealous of Jess's boys to me, but mostly I just want to know, WTF? He has some serious issues! Can't wait to read more.
  17. Cliff diving well, jumping more, feet first is safer. I started doing that when I was 5 but only from about 20 feet up. The highest I have ever gone from was 50 ft. Bungee jumping is just too crazy for me! WYR Sleep 4 hours every day and have lots of spare time but always be tired or Sleep 12 hours every day and be well rested but always missing things
  18. It's a hand drawn archer with a pointed hood holding a bow with a quiver of arrows on his back. I just couldn't get it any bigger. Sorry, it is also on my profile a little bit bigger if you want to check it out.
  19. I had a 7-up shirt that got me followed around the mall a few times. The front said, Make 7 and the back said Up Yours. People would see the back and just have to see what the front said. I never quite understood that. My hubby had a shirt made for me for riding 4-wheelers that said, If you can read this, than this Bitch just passed you.
  20. I just downloaded this, perfect tool. Mine was blank, not used. I am not sure what your difficulties are Skylights, sorry. I think this would be a helpful tool for authors, many forget details about their characters, such as age, style, family background. I even once read a story that in 10 chapters the protagonist had a wee wee that start with one size overall when hard, shrunk a 1/2 inch then ended up being a 1/2" bigger when hard than it was in the beginning. Sooo not cool, I mean why tease all the guys that wish they have a select a size? Cia PS: Thanks for the link Rush
  21. If that is Jean-Luc I give it a 9, since I was able to tell when it is so damn small!! If not 4, just cause I look like an idiot and show my TNG tendencies.
  22. The Medic You scored 42% Egocentricism, 37% Heirarchy, 40% Spiritualityand 32% Morality! **You're The Medic! You're a jaded but good person in a bad world. There's no one to help you, but you're there to help others, not for any particular reason- you're just compelled. You're the only one on the battlefield who isn't adding to the carnage. **The Medic has an Evil Twin: The Servant. The Servant is what happens when the medic's giving nature is focused on one individual rather than people in general. **If you are The Servant: You SHOULD: Be extremely careful. You are probably The Servant because you fell in love with someone who simply uses you, and/or because of a sexual fetish of some kind. You may feel the need to be protected and directed by someone- choose very very carefully. Make this choice based on your talents and interests. The person you allow yourself to become dependent upon should be someone who channels you in good directions, and who enjoys your greatest strengths. You should NOT: Serve just anyone who has a use for you. Use drugs or alcohol as mood lifters, even mildly. The Hero would also be a good pick for you. Not only can The Hero protect you, the Hero can make a sidekick out of you, thus making you more like your better-adjusted twin, The Medic. LOL, Guess I am more the servant type. Anyone know a good hero to save me from my own pecadillos? And just what is wrong with using alcohol to self medicate, hmmm?
  23. Is there a support group for this, gay adopted straight kids in the closet? They really need support!
  24. I think that woman's article is full of snide innuendo and inflammatory comments. It is shameful that it was ever written or published. I hope that that piece of trash is pulled and the author should face serious professional repercussions! Absolutely shameful! Even if he had an open relationship or smoked, nothing justifies slander that will only upset his family and offend the gay community.
  25. I, like Rush, feel like I can admit to something, reading gay fiction, that I can't do with my family. Just yesterday I was given a hard time by my husband for reading and posting to threads on this website. Pretty much had to tell him to put up and shut up since I really like the vibe here, especially from those of you who have actually made the time to chat with me. I just joined so I am not as involved as some but I could easily see myself sticking around a long time. Thanks to all involved in this website!
