Ron, I enjoyed this story just as much as the first time I read it. I love the way you write characters -- from your main characters to the supporting characters -- they're all so well written. I loved to watch how much Reggie grew from the beginning of writing in his journal to the end. He matured a lot for a 16-year-old boy. I eagerly look forward to the next story you post here! (And don't worry, it doesn't have to be DaDP; it could be the Madonna story, It's Not Easy Being a Tree...any of your stories will be great to re-read.

I totally agree with everyone else; this was a fantastic story! There was a weakness, however, IT ENDED!!! Seriously, though, I put off reading the last two or three chapters because I never wanted it to end! I do agree with WW about Erik not being front and center as much as Ryan was. Hopefully Hudson will rectify that in the sequel, which of course, I CANNOT WAIT FOR!!!!!

Poor Andy. He's been carrying that guilt around for all these years. How the kids and teachers could keep quiet is beyond me. I'm sure the cops would have shut them up if anyone did come forward anyway. Andy needs to talk to Marcus' mom; I think she could really help him come to terms with who he is. Marcus was very supportive and caring in this chapter. I like this Marcus!

You know, I read this every night on my phone, and I'm getting a kick out of Reggie just as much as I did when I read this years ago. Little by little he's growing up, and I think when he goes back and reads the journal when he's an adult, he'll see things that he never noticed before. On to chapter thirteen!

Alas, I think this chapter is going to permanently keep Nathan in the friend-zone. But...Liam is happy, and Alek really has changed for the better since the last book. Standing up to his ignorant father took a lot of guts, especially with his staff there watching. Plus Liam, of course. But good for Alek! It's just too bad his "parents" are such bigots. Yeah, well, we know what's going down in Russia now anyway. Hopefully Liam's friends won't try to talk him out of going back with Alek. I'm curious to read Marty's reaction. Great chapter, Lit!

I think it's wonderful that Jackson and Luke know they can count on Grace to be in their corner. I think Grace, Jackson's dad, Luke's dad, and J&L's friends should all do an intervention with Cindzella. It's worth a try. lol

I'm finally all caught up! And yay for me -- I see a new chapter posted! Reggie's bold captions always put a smile on my face. Most of them are just laugh-out-loud funny. I'm enjoying each chapter as learns more about himself.

I think this was my favorite chapter, HB! I absolutely loved how Andy just fit in so well at the center. You can tell he really loves kids. As does Marcus. See, they have that in common. The chapter also showed how vulnerable Marcus is. He hides his emotions so well that Andy has no idea Marcus feels the same way he does. Maybe one day they'll actually communicate with one another. Haha Can't wait for the next chapter!!!!

Oh man, HB, what a tearjerker! I was so sad for both Erik and Ryan. I understand that Ryan needs space away from NYC and away from Erik right now, but I'm still heartbroken he's leaving. I felt the chemistry between them from the beginning. You could tell that Ryan wasn't acting when they did their scenes. I doubt Erik was either. They were so good together, and that's what makes it so sad. But I guess if it's meant to be, Ryan will be back. My fingers are crossed. But...you totally made my whole DAY when you said you're working on part two!!!!! Yay!!!!! If I knew how to get that cute little dancing icon-thingy, I would put him right here! Great chapter, Lit! I'm glad Liam pressed charges. It was nice that the security guard also pressed charges. It was also refreshing that the police don't tolerate hate crimes. I actually thought it was sweet the way Alek was doting on Liam and waking him up every two hours to check on him. But why didn't they put ice on his eye?! Or a steak, like they do in the movies. Now what's Alek's father going to bitch about now?

I'm really enjoying your story, Robert. So it appears that Rob is sensitive. Hmm, maybe he just jokes around all the time as a cover or something. Idk... I can't wait for the next chapter.

Oh, Drew, I am so sorry for your loss. Guero was very lucky to have you and your family as his owners. Pets give us such love and affection, and they leave such an impact on us when they're gone. The grief we go through when they're no longer with us can be insurmountable, but the years we spend with them are well worth it. I know exactly what you're going through, Drew. In time, it will get better. You'll be able to talk about Guero and look at pictures of him without crying. Again, my condolences go out to you and your family. I'm sorry, Drew.
