Luke is such a sadistic prick. Ezra's sperm donor is horrible also, but in his warped, fucked up mind, he really thinks he's helping his son. Luke, on the other hand, is doing all this shit to Ezra on purpose, for his own enjoyment. The sick fuck. I just want Josh and his mom to have the cops swarm the house and rescue Ezra already! lol

Ezra made two huge breakthroughs by telling Abby about his father and Luke. Of course, she's very smart and was pretty nonchalant when carefully phrasing her questions. The other breakthrough was when he told Josh about Luke. And naturally he panicked and had to leave. Hopefully, he won't get beaten up too badly for bringing home wet clothes (and wearing someone else's clothes!), and for smelling like weed!!! Oh shit! Now he's gonna be in for it! Abby is one smart cookie. I'm glad she took pictures of Ezra's clothes and took notes, hopefully writing down where every bruise and scar on his body was. Oh no! Double shit! Ezra better hide the paper with Abby's phone number on it. I hope he memorized it. If his father sees it, he's gonna get another whipping.

Hopefully his car is in one piece. I wonder what they used it for. I agree with everyone who pointed out how subtle it was written when the predator FINALLY realized what he had done to all those boys. Now he has a conscience. Maybe he'll stop being a predator. It's obvious he's afraid of Ted. And he has every right to be; I don't think Ted is done with him.

Omg, poor Dustin! His "father", aka sperm donor is a piece of shit. No wonder Amanda picks on him--she thinks if her father can pick on him, so can she! Good for Billy for trying to defend his friend. It fell on deaf ears though. Dustin needs to get out of that house. Poor kid.

Wow, so the teen years are really taking their toll on poor Billy. What a grouch! lol I'm glad that he and Brett are together, even though they haven't really done anything. It's still a pain in the ass because Brett and Dustin hate each other, and that puts Billy smack in the middle.

Just goes to show how things can be taken out of perspective. Now all of Marc's friends think Toni's some kind of badass. lol I'm glad that at least Marc knows Toni didn't run out of the party because he thought Marc was trying to kiss him. He'd probably be laughing (and very relieved) if he knew Toni thought HE was the one who was trying to kiss Marc, not the other way around.

Wait, why aren't David and Gary still best friends? Chuck was saying Gary's dad is picking Tom up and Gary used to be David's best friend. Used to be? They're not anymore? What happened? People move on, yes, but I'm still best friends with my best friend from my youth. The beginning had me in tears. I'm so glad David decided to go to the funeral, if only to support Tommy. After everything Tommy had done for him four years ago, David really owes Tommy this. Tommy was always there for David. Always. And yes, how did dear old Dad die? From Gary's dad and Grandpa's "friends"? What, though, did Chuck mean by something Mark had said to him was eating at him. What was it? All these questions, Skinny! Can't wait for more!

I know in the previous chapter I was actually feeling a teeny weeny bit sorry for our predator. Now that's gone. Yes, he's getting what he deserves. He takes innocent eighteen-year-old boys and breaks them -- gets them messed up on drugs, rapes them countless times, then acts as the 'hero' when he tries to calm them down the next morning. He's despicable. He's lucky the last guy showed a sliver of sympathy for him. I don't have any sympathy for him. Defiance brought up a good question: does Marc know Ted? How did Ted know about the predator? Wait, did Ted know Redhead? Maybe Redhead ratted the predator out. How would Marc know Ted? Oohh, maybe Redhead knows Marc! Oh, what a tangled web you do weave, Parker!!

That sucks about their visit to see Pierre and David. Jeez, what if they were going to a family wedding or something? That's really not fair. The corporate office forgot to tell the satellite offices, but really, if they had something big like a wedding, what would they do? Corey should go anyway. What's he gonna do, mope all weekend at home? Love the visit with Jason's folks. Mama Sedor is just looking out for her son, like all good mamas.

Yeah, Kenny and Pastor Lewis should get together and go bowling. They're both made from the same cloth (pun so not intended! ). Kenny's a douchebag who's willing to throw away the friendship he has with his best friend. All over what? Something his best friend can't control, like the color of his eyes. As Zac is finding out, Kenny's no friend anyway. He's a racist homophobe. Who needs him? Let him and the good pastor bond over their hatred of everyone who's different from them. I don't see this ending well for Adrian at all. Zac will be fine, but Adrian definitely has to keep everything on the dl.

Whoa! Thomas and Denise?? Didn't see that one coming! lol I'd be scared of Thomas right about now if I were Shane. I don't trust him. No, he might not hurt Shane physically, but I can see him attacking Jason to get back at Shane. So how does Thomas know Denise? Is Thomas the one who's been following Jason? Jason said it always feels like somone's following him. I wonder if Viktor's going to say anything to Shane about Thomas. He must be watching to see how comes in and out of the apartment. I'm sure he has a thing or two to say about the detective coming back also. Great chapter, Mitchelll!

Are you sure J's first initial isn't D? I agree with all your reviewers; this was a wonderful, lighthearted chapter. Toph gave me lots to chuckle about, especially screwing up MaryBeth's name so many times! I'm thrilled he told his mother off, what an ice queen she is! Toph's father did seem kind of human in this chapter. Hopefully Toph can have some sort of relationship with him. The wedding was perfect; Toph got to know his brothers and nephews some more, and he even got a hug from Clarence! So sad that it was their first-ever hug, but hopefully it wasn't their last.

Being your most faithful reviewer, I realized I didn't read this chapter! Wow, so Adam/Matt's dad accidentally killed Codey's father. Shit. And now Adam is blackmailing him? By the letter never being mailed, does that mean David never told Sandra what he did? If so, then Adam has the biggest trump card I know. lol Can't wait to see what happens if/when they meet. Will David even recognize his own son? How old was Adam when his father left? He never heard his voice? -
Holy shit, Stannie! What a terrific first chapter! This doesn't look good for Ryan and everyone else on that flight. Shit. I'm on pins and needles waiting for chapter two!

Ouch. Toni was pretty harsh to Marc. I know he wasn't rally thinking, and he was getting pissed that his "friends" weren't sticking up for him, but he was pretty rude. And his "friends" were Marc's friends way before he showed up, so their allegiance is toward Marc, not him. This was another great chapter Lilly! Just some constructive crit: be careful of sentence structure; there are some fragmented sentences here and there.

I'm glad Marty gave Zac that little push he needed toward Adrian. I'm thrilled he told Billy the truth. Why would he think their relationship would suffer? Billy came out to him; I would think it would make the relationship stronger. Now they can talk about things together. I don't trust Kenny at all. He's an asshole. You know he's going to start something with Adrian b/c he sees Zac hanging around him. Kenny's going to cause trouble, I just know it.

On a more serious note, I, too, didn't want to hit the 'like' button, but I only did it for this story because it's so well written, Parker. Not for the content. Ted is very creepy. And chilling. I think he's worse than our original predator. And what's with Redhead? Doesn't he realize what Ted's doing? Has our predator done the same thing to Redhead? Hmmmm, I wonder... Now Ted is drugging him up so others can use and abuse him. This is not going to end well. I actually feel a bit sorry for the guy. Stupid, right?

As I told you yesterday, Val, I totally believe in ghosts and shit, and haunted houses, and that particular haunted house was really creepy! Although most days it would be nice to have a ghost fold my laundry too! LadyDe had some great questions. What will happen if Mikie goes back to the farm when he's six? He'll be too old for the 'helpers' to take, right? Of course if Brad and Allen ever bring him back there, they have to have some screws loose!! As with De, I do believe a sequel is in order!! Pronto!! lol We need to find out what happens to Mikie and if he ever sees his helper "friends" again. Great story, Val!
