If the mountain won't go to Calum, then Calum needs to go to the mountain...Every journey begins with a single step, and along that journey there will be time for Calum to order his thoughts and thinking.
If he is going to, for the lack of better words, lead the enlightenment, he has to be unassailable, a tough task undoubtedly...
He'll need to focus on the base reasons, why the wood, how is it used, who controls the supply, have they no forests left to them on their own side of the mountains? If memory serves me correctly, they don't...that we know of...unless there are some 'restricted' forests....
Whatever the wood is used for, is it possible that other, readily available materials could be used?
