Love the direction this story is taking…I’ll be leaving the ‘60’s sooner than I would like. As one of three siblings, one deceased and the other states away, I became the caregiver for my parents.I often tell friends my children came to me when they were in their60’s. As a result of serving in China during WW2, my father suffered mightily from PTSD. Never holding a steady job or paying income taxes. I was/became their sole source of support and as they got older, their caregiver up and to the point they could no longer live safely at home. I cooked, cleaned, paid the bills, followed up with medical appointments, along with medications. Once they passed, the vultures came out demanding “stuff” they had no claim to, or a share in the family property that was saved through my efforts. There were multiple, documented requests for help/assistance from them that never came. My parents wills reflected how they felt about that. Needless to say, there was so many more frustrations, such as a 14 year legal battle to finally settle things. I can’t trust Phil’s son, he beings back many memories of the greedy sort. Phil needs to review his final decision on his wishes and update where necessary…

Oh vey…it is gonna take a fortitious set of circumstances to clear this mess up….
