Then as @RainbowPhoenixWI so wonderfully noted, Carl just might have the rest of the gang together...perhaps a picture of a cozy campfire might suit their purposes as they play... This had been lying dormant in the further recesses of my cranium for a bit...I am convinced Jordan Turner isn't as smart as he would like to think he is...if there were to be a popularity contest or an election between him and Uncle George, I would bet the ranch on who would win...

I think what is best about this chapter is that what we are seeing are folks living normal lives with normal aspirations, regardless of their sexuality... If we spent half the time on things that matter, rather than the time spent on those issues that are created to divide us, how much better this world would be. And it looks like the reach of the 'awesome foursome' is growing exponentially....hope to see more of them in the upcoming chapters...heck...they just might have their own story to follow this one!!!

It is obvious there is more to Cormac, might he have an answer to what is going on with Nathan's arm??? Absolve both of them from their past? This is stereotypical....and so frigging stupid. It would make the point that in all the stupid decisions Nathan has made, he has learned nothing... “I wrote that report and gave it to a courier today,” Brohm said. “Hopefully we’ll hear back from Shaw soon.” Nathan nodded, absentmindedly smoothing the bandage on his arm. Two snippets stood out for me in this chapter and what a chapter it was... Dan wrinkled his nose, “Sort of, but I’ve never had what you could call a regular boyfriend, and life in the Force meant I kept my head down.” “So, you’ve never talked to her about what you want from life.” “Too scared I suppose. She has hopes; though she’s not religious, underneath there’s still something of the archetypal Catholic Nonna about her. Food and Family are her thing.” She stared at him, “You’ll have to bite the bullet some time, and I’ll say this for Vaughan, he’s very house-trained.” I was laughing so hard I nearly snorted my lunchtime glass of water... >No expense spared. But it is very… Another pause. >Revealing. “We’d noticed.” There was a noise on the other end of the line, but she did not say anything. “But Dan is being careful. A job is not worth giving up your dignity for.” >And Dan? “Has not lost his dignity. Yet.” >He is a very attractive young man, even Edna noticed. Those trousers are well cut, but very revealing. After a bit over a quarter of a million words in this twisted never-ending tale of angst, lack of impulse control, and a shut and dried case for youthinasia, the only redeeming character in this debacle is the dog Jack... Oh...and M is preggers as noted earlier...

The question now becomes will this happen before the trip to LA or after, and a deep, in-length detailed conversation with Prince George? Ya all know to make a good Bloody Baron Evans, Mary, y'all gotta add some pepper, Worcestershire, and shake the living bejesus out of it before inserting the stick of celery...squeezing the lime can happen anytime during or after to obtain the best effect...

Another fantastic chapter, loved the idioms and the vernacular. Even better is the growing bond between Thomas and Keith and it is a pleasure to watch Keith slowly come out of his shell as it were... One of my employers at the end of each contract for renovations to the facilities, would sit in his office at the end of each completed project with the contractor and myself and would go, "Let's sharpen our pencils, shall we"? as he tried to nickel and dime 'savings' off the overall costs. I heard him described by many something very similar to the following...a phrase sometimes used was something about pinching pennies with the muscles in his posterior.... “Fat chance of that. Guy that owns it skimped on the work something rotten, tight as a pig’s arse.”
