So many questions had answers revealed, all of the comments above are spot on!! Having said that, is Long Ears a changeling or was Micco able to, for the lack of better words, cure it? That it was immune to bullets is the stuff of nightmares!!! Martina got what was coming to her, sadly she acted on emotion and frustration, not a good combination when plotting to murder and absconding with a fortune... We still have the worst part of the hurricane to get through, thankfully the rest of the wolves are ok, I worry about the panthers, or did I miss something?? While it is fantastic that Micco was able to rise above and conquer his fears and rise above a life-threatening situation, what is left are questions regarding the loss of his family in the fire, who, how, what, and why??? One of your best chapters yet and there's still the ubiquitous red herrings...

Gonna show my age here a bit, the stash of brown paper parcel-era gay porn @Leslie Lofton brings back memories of growing up gay in the 70's and 80's just after the dinosaurs extinction...for someone of my ilk and age at the time, it was how many of us were exposed to the wider worlds of gay sex and the mechanics involved. I had to go with WOW as my reaction considering what we find out at the end of this chapter, simply mind blowing...considering, and we all knew, the tech that is employed across the channel...How many and who/where are they??? I knew there was neither coincidence, nor mercy of some deity at work. Jack had done something in the past or future that allowed me to be here in this body. I knew he loved me, but he transcended the bounds of life and death to be with me. What he did was reckless and epic, I was proud and horrified, so I knew it was his actions. However, Jack and I weren’t the only ones to make the journey to the past. There must be a deeper story behind why all of this happened and why I am here with such a weight on my shoulders.

One has to wonder just how much Francis will see of the other reality as well!!
