I just get the feeling that the egg incubator may find a decent job and do well, but Jasper is another sort of kettle of fish. His personality and attitude preclude his ever becoming a dependable clog in the wheel of industry...I don't think life/work in the south will ever be that spot somewhere over the rainbow... Russ, don't know why, but my initial dislike may be tempering...I'm still wary and don't think he's a long-term partner. I am beginning to think he's craving what he sees as Brian and Gordan's "normal" life... Just wait till he comes to the office/shop on Monday.... Ralph, why would we learn more about him unless.....

I can't add much more than what previous commenters have stated...This story covered all the bases and touched all of our heartstrings, reminding all of us the reason for the season!!! Adam is not only precocious but a budding star!!! Loved the following... Adam immediately asked if we could get a cat after reading the first. We took the easy way out with the typical parental response, 'we'll see.' Thankfully, he didn't ask if we could have a T-Rex after reading the first dinosaur book. But I decided to have a little fun with that. "You asked for a cat, but not a dinosaur. Why not a dinosaur too?" "The dinosaurs are all dead. And if they weren't, if we got one, it would eat the cat. The books are Pete the cat, not eat the cat." And Mrs. Prescott is going to find out the world of hurt she is in, will seem like a bottomless pit... .

He sensed the hum of electricity as it stuttered from the storm’s disruption. Instead of his side of the pass-through sliding shut and locking, it remained open as the door on the other side swung open. It took Asa no more than a second to register the shaft of light coming through the narrow chamber. It took even less time for him to do what he did best– become one with the light. He was gone before the soldier on the other side even realized the mistake. Freedom! One can only hope this is where you know who ends up...
