    First Encounter

I get the feeling the boys confession as to how each other felt will last a bit longer than a bus ride, will they room together??
  2. I am very surprised/upset that the school did not see fit to expel Marty and set him up with alternative learning till his case was adjudicated... I can't believe that Marty's father was smart enough to shelter all his assets, bring on the lawsuit....
  3. We're at the point where we're gonna need a scorecard to keep the players straight..or whatever...
  4. I'm not sold on Ryan's health choices... I’d kill him if he gave me something—and he knows that, so much so that he'd shown me his negative STD lab results a week ago to give me the go-ahead to fuck him as I wish. Though it’s unfair that I haven’t shown him my results, I've never had any test whatsoever to prove that I have a clean slate. I disliked getting pricked with needles, and I'd never had bareback sex apart from a couple of ex-boyfriends I’d been with and Ryan.
  5. I'm reminded of Imperial Russia before the revolution of 1917. Conditions and circumstances of that time have often been described as a pressure cooker set on the stove and left unintended. As an example, personal family lore tells of a story of a pressure cooker left unattended, as Christmas preparations were underway. Inside that pressure cooker was lutefisk, a dried, salted cod being rehydrated as part of a traditional Swedish Julebord (feast). When the unattended pressure cooker popped, the exploding lutefisk destroyed the kitchen as it became embedded in the walls and ceiling... The object lesson here, as noted in the dance for the new king, Fran's dance partner hit the nail on the proverbial head when she noted that the current ruling class was blithely unaware of the pressure cooker they were all living in... The rule of unintended consequences has begun, no plan of battle ever survives first contact with the enemy... Or as grandma used to say, cakes are baking dearie....

    Chapter 33

Raging hormones, half listened to conversations, misunderstandings, the government wanting a lab art, and a terminal illness ...what could possibly go right...or wrong???

    Chapter 6

The mirror scene is intriguing and the following as well, not forgetting Greg's dad called him the alpha amongst his friends... What is going on here??? Chris couldn’t resist the joke and said, “Maybe you can find an artful naked lady.” Dad and I rolled our eyes while Scott gave him a rough shoulder bump, causing Chris to glance at him and mumble, “Sorry, Sir.”

    Chapter 6 Eager

Loved this chapter, absolutely freaking loved it!!! More please and thanks...Vincent surely imparted the lessons Jubal needed, even iffin they could not be a couple...He imparted a trade and skills that would serve Jubal well, anywhere he goes... As a young man growing up, i was fascinated with colonial and western history and still am. The discussion concerning proper building methods struck a cord with me and brought back memories of one of my favorite books and authors... Please take a moment to check out the link/images below... https://archive.org/details/a-reverence-for-wood/page/30/mode/2up Talk about ingenuity...
  13. Or if the parents were truly evil, name the kid Holden Richard....
  14. Like @kbois, this one had me snorting and nearly peeing in my pants...I've in my many decades of intensive investigations into the various properties, dimensions, and various naming conventions, concerning the many imbroglios that prodigious digit bequeathed, think the fall of Troy, Magellan circumcising..oops circumventing the globe, Robert Goddard perfecting the rocket, has engendered...but the following is a hilarious first... Kyan beamed at his good luck and then shimmied under the covers until he was face-to-face with Perry’s pineapple juicer. He wrapped his hand around Perry’s soft penis and let it flop a little side-to-side, feeling the weight. He licked it, tentatively at first, to get a taste and feel for it, and then with more purpose as it hardened in his hand. Ava, bless the little rapscallion, for showing everyone that a secret isn't always a secret...humm????
  15. Whatever they use the building for it will involve children who need help...

    Chapter 212

This was one of those chapters I wished I could used more than one emoji... Those poor visitors the Doctor brought with him, they have seen just how a home for children should be run. I'm willing to bet what they have seen puts them and the places they are involved with to shame!!! I'm willing to bet those two officious busybodies will find something to complain about and write up...they certainly didn't like how close all the children were to Armand. There is truth in the saying that love heals many things and problems... I'm angry at Silas' condition, we have somehow lost the thread where so many things in our lives are disposable, and sadly it would seem to include children. As a confirmed agnostic I find powerful insights that are often ignored by so many of us in the bible... The words “whatever you do to the least of these” are found in the Gospel of Matthew. Matthew, a tax collector before becoming a disciple of Christ, begins the book with the genealogy of Jesus. The book continues with His birth, ministry, baptism, temptation, and teachings (including parables) and includes the arrest, trial, and death of Jesus. The fact that Matthew was a tax collector at one point reminds us that God can (and will) use anyone to help others have a relationship with Him. Tax collectors were often despised in their communities because they worked for the Roman government. Matthew left his work as a tax collector and became a disciple of Jesus. Matthew’s example reminds us that people can change from living a sinful life to a Christ-centered life. There is always an opportunity to repent and start new. People wondered why Jesus would share a meal with someone the locals hated. Jesus responded to their inquiries by reminding them that the healthy don’t need a doctor or healing. Jesus often shared His concern and love for all people, especially those in need. He spent time with lepers, tax collectors, prisoners, the hungry, and others. Jesus expressed love to all in hopes of helping them know His Father. When Jesus was asked to travel and heal a dying person, He went. In an impactful statement, Jesus described the judgment that will come when He returns: As he described what would happen when the Son of Man separated the sheep from the goats, Jesus spoke words that touched the hearts and souls of people, then and now: The people responded by asking the Son of Man when they saw Him hungry and thirsty. They continued by asking when they saw Him as a stranger and invited Him in? When did they visit Him in prison or see Him sick? The reply from Jesus was simple yet profound. “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me’”

    Chapter 32

Will the lesson learned stick?? Travis melted into the embrace, reveling in the comfort and joy he found there. He didn’t know what the future held for them with school starting next week and his symptoms worsening, but that day, he learned an important lesson: bravery isn’t the absence of fear. It’s facing what terrifies you head-on. Because on the other side of fear is hope, is love.
  21. Pelipi is still in that prison, my second shortest comment evah....

  23. Oh boy...what's the old saying..."loose lips..."
  24. Will the mystic be able to help with the missing tentacle/arm, or will we see one made for her?
  25. I can't imagine that Marty will be going anywhere, most likely he's got home confinement...If I'm the DA, there isn't a scintilla of a chance he gets' a plea deal...at 14, he's got juvie for 4 more years and possibly transfer to an adult correctional facility after juvie... Matt will heal with the help of family, friends and boyfriend, he's got a great support system, it won't be easy but it will get better... One can only hope Marty's parents haven't hidden any assets, cause they are about to be taken to the cleaners...
