What a great present for this Saturday morning and as we saw, sending Daventry and Granger off to the frozen north, as it were, to allow for passions to cool down after the Guild had been neutered, were rewarded as indicated. What can be said about Caroline, one of the most astute political minds of her contemporaries, her fall from grace is stunning...and complete. She may have as well been banished to a nunnery.... While there was reconciliation between Grainger and his father the Duke, where was Freddie in offering congratulations, I fear anger and jealousy may lead to further intrigue from Freddie and the shrew he married... And...what of the Guild, St Vincent, and the others who oppose/detest Granger??? Let's not forget, by creating Grainger as an Earl, promises made in repudiating Caroline's ill conceived attempt to award their oldest son with a title, have been carried out... Then there is the issue of, will Granger return to the sea, if so...I suspect there will be a promotion, a step up in rank... While the world is for the most part at peace, we all know it won't last, and hopefully...many more adventures to be shared!!!
