Fantastic job @astone2292 for surviving the interview...mostly intact I hope!!! Seriously, and I'm gonna get sappy, this Ask An Author segment is spot on and highlights what makes GA the incredible story site that it is. Not only do we get exposed to a plethora and wide variety of stories and poems, but in a sense...we are joining a community of like minded souls. No one is ever going to like everything they read, but there is something for everyone, as you ponder your way through the story selections. That we get a chance to use the comments and somewhat abuse GIF's, is simply wonderful. It adds a whole 'nother dimension, to me they are as much a part of the story as well. I very much look forward to reading and contributing to the comments. I've said it before and will say it again, we are so lucky to have Gay Authors, your interview with @Mrsgnomie and @kbois makes/proves my point! Thanks all!!

WTF, is there, what the He double LL is the connection...if Hunters are going after shifters and the like, why would they or "He who won't be named" associate with each other even for nefarious means???

Wow...did I say wow??? So...not only do we have "He who won't be named"...but Hunters too....Fanaubla..manaedge defanaubla...

What's the old expression...from the frying pan into the fire....nothing like picking right up where you left off with..and with a bang!!

It is plainly obvious that 1, they were followed or...the police are corrupted. Drugs equals cash...lots of it and my guess is someone has been bought off... 2, Martinez has been shot. Power has been compromised and I suspect the emergency generator as well. Some sort of incident set off the sprinklers and fire alarm as well. 3, This has the hallmarks of staged assault. It speaks to some foreknowledge of the station and its mechanical and emergency systems. As such, it isn't the result of one or two lone wolves, but a highly organized, larger group working as the assault team, with access to resources way beyond your average citizens...and help from inside... 4, Just what does Macy know and who has the most to lose. Drugs have been indicated, namely the transport from the Keys to Miami and points north. To me, this speaks to very high level corruption... 5, Jase and Lucas, the dam has broken and I fear for anyone who tries to get between them and Macy, there may be some rough sledding however...

As we get deeper, pun intended, into this tale, there are more mysteries that need explanation...

Loved this chapter, meeting Alex's family and the love they shared. I gotta say...nothing cooks better than cast iron and am always on the lookout for unique cast iron cookware! Alex's parents seem to be a force of nature and I for one, would love to know more about that side of the blended family!! It wasn't a spoon in my house growing up...My mother kept an old leather belt in a kitchen drawer. All she had to do was to take it out, fold it in half and push her hands together. She would then quickly pull them apart causing the belt to snap...and that was all it took!!!

It's like nepotism, first cousins cousins marrying, or eating only one color out of the bag of M&M's...😁
