Hoping there aren't another ten chapters before we get to the ball as Richard can't be any more obtuse as he is right now, Dickoless is on a path with a brutal ending and Daren, if he lived in the states, would be a rising star in the retardican party... Harriet's world is chock full of distractions...something has to give...do you suppose she and her fellow band mates take over the music at the ball?

Or, "Batteries no longer needed, it's all rechargeable!!" Or, "Speak softly to the huge lavender dildo..." Or, "If That Lavender Dildo could Talk...!!!" "You Want to lock Up What...??" "Just Where Does That Shiny Thing Go...???" "Whatever you do, Don't Lose The Key...!!!" Lastly, "You Can Trust Me, I'm The Installer..." “Really, such a thing exists?” “It does now, and if you all agree, this playroom will be the first location to have them operational. I get the feeling from reading the comments and the following, something or someone will force the boys to ''break-up''. midway through our junior year. We fell stupidly, irrevocably, and deeply in love. I was in love. I was so screwed. Then our esteemed author let this slip... The shitshow is still there but we're just ignoring it. The memories are coming quicker, sometimes overlapping, having spoken the words that began this mess, Vale/Maelor must have an idea by this point how to conduct a repair in the curse/blessing. Will it have anything to do with the archaeological dig site, something found, or will it act as a nexus of ley lines?? It is frustrating to see the total lack of honesty in the way Marcus/Marco and Vale/Maelor communicate with Christopher/Ceyln. What is it that precludes this? If my head hurt the other day in confusion, it is double today...

While times haven't changed much, back in the late 70's, all of the 80's and 90's, where it started to get better, being gay wasn't easy, and could be downright dangerous...From the bigotry to AIDS and back to the bigotry, it was never easy. As a teenager in the late 60's the biggest fear was herpes, a disease that lasted a lifetime. It scared the crap out of this poor old country boy...Try explaining to your parents that not only are you gay, but a gay boy handed you a lifetime sentence. I became so frigging cautious I went to the bars, back then we had the alternative newspaper called the Boston Phoenix, and they broke major stories, covered the news everyone in power, authority, or civic leaders wanted swept under the rug. Like the FM radio station WCBN they catered to the younger generation. The best part about the Phoenix were the classified pages at the back end of the paper. It was Grinder or Tinder before the age of the internet. I met, and did so very carefully, so many "straight' boys and boys who fulfilled my gay fantasies. I never went anywhere without condoms in my wallet or pants. Funny story aside, Mom found a pack of condoms in the bottom to the washing machine while I was still in high school. This was when dinosaurs still roamed the earth folks...Needless to say, Dad pulled me aside and told me to keep it wrapped up, they weren't ready for grandbabies, I gave him my solemn promise that I would never do such a thing. He patted me on the shoulder and walked away never realizing he did not have a thing to worry about... Thanks to the Boston Phoenix, not only did I get to explore my sexuality with every flavor of boy, twinks, and older men, but had the addresses of every gay bar in the area and beyond... Thank you for so succintly saying what so many of us feel, and kudos to @Summerabbacat for posting this song. For me, and for my own selfish reasons, I thought this day would never come. I am saddened beyond belief; it is her songwriting that stunned me the most, over three thousand songs attributed to her. Wow, this was an intense chapter with some unexpected developments... Christopher recognised the chant. Every phrase belonged. Every cadence. Every invocation. Then one word changed. One word. Another. A phrase forced into the ancient rhythm, desperation bending sacred language towards impossible purpose. Then... Maelor had not set out to create a curse. He had tried to prevent a farewell. Marco was not cursed because he lives forever. Christopher was not cursed because he is reborn. They're cursed because neither had been allowed to finish grieving. The curse had begun at the precise moment Maelor believed love could be preserved by refusing to let death complete its work.

I had to go with WOW...this chapter had me rereading several parts many times!!! Richard...Richard...Richard....Dickoless is stringing you along, will he have a change of heart at the dance?

A complicated society, but as noted, Henry should do well!!!
