Awwww, such an exciting time. Enjoy every second of it. My brother just had a baby (hahaha-his wife had the baby) and when we were shopping for things, wow! The baby stuff has changed so much over the years. They didn’t have half the cool stuff they have now when we had JJ. I disagree with Lugh- not all girl stuff is pink. We actually had JJ in lots of cute non-pink stuff when she was little. You guys are going to have a blast but…all of that she’s not going to do this and she will do that…that isn’t going to fly! She’s going to have her own little personality and you two are going to have to deal with her being her!

I love the show that this clip comes from. “What would you do?” We watch it all the time as a family. We have never been asked to leave a place, but we have heard sarcastic snickers and those rude remarks spoken just loud enough to be “accidentally” overheard. I don’t think anyone would actually ask us to leave because Robert is very intimating, not just in his size, but shaved head, tattoos and built like a linebacker, I don’t think someone would ever dare to do it. As unfortunate as it is, this is a discussion we have had to have as a family. What would we do if this happened to us? Not just this topic, but the many controversial subjects facing society today. Our daughter is our number one priority. We try to protect her from everything, but realistically we can’t. She has faced intolerance because of us and it kills me. She is not just our responsibility until she is 18 but for a lifetime. As a society, what we teach our children at home will go out into the world with them.

Hahaha! Considering that I was spending the summer in California (aka my mom shipped me away for 3 months) and home was in Baltimore, MD…no, I didn’t walk back home. That was a really tough time in my life. I didn’t think I would make it through it and have an opportunity to look back on it someday.

I use Times New Roman. I think it’s easier on the eyes and most actual publications are printed in a similar font. Now, if you want to font to match the style of your story you might want to jazz it up a bit, but for reading, I think this is the easiest universally.

I woke up this morning at 6am and our power was out! Like an idiot, I jumped up, grab my cell phone and called my brother. I was really freaked out for a second. What if they got the am-pm time thing wrong. Well....turns out that a car hit the electric pole a mile or two away and power was back on within the hour. Had to laugh at myself.

Kick off my shoes, drop my keys on the table and then my kid steals the change from my pockets. After that it, depends on if I showered at the hospital or not. If I have then I change into shorts and get on the computer, If not I have to shower ASAP! Nothing as gross as finding blood or pieces of human bone in your hair!

1. My family- not the people I was born to, but the ones that love me, no matter what and want to spend every minute with me. 2. Packages- I love to open packages when they arrive. I don't really care what's inside, I just love to open them. 3. Bubble Baths - It was something that I really couldn't enjoy as a kid and now I can. We have a massive tub. I like to get the water really hot and soapy and just soak with a good book and forget the glass, I'm taking the whole dang bottle of wine in with me...sometimes the cat joins me and hangs out on the ledge to keep me company.
