    A very interesting story. I think these guys are going to become good friends And I would like to see where this goes. There were a few minor bumps that I see that Cia and Suvitar addressed. You might want to consider writing from just one of the character's point of view since the head-hopping is a little distracting from the story. Good job!

    I love forest creatures. Talk about these boys being thick, after so many warnings and with everything their Grandmother told them, they still dismiss the days events as being nothing?? LOL I do have one question, Are they triplets? I like that even though we know that it's going to be a rough day for the boys we know they will survive. This would be an excellent story to expand **hint-hint**

    One time when my daughter was little (3-4 years old) she asked where hamburgers came from. When we told her that it was from a cow, she got a weird look on her face and stopped eating for a second then started giggling and said "Cows are tasty!" I have been hunting and fishing and caught my own food many many times, but I'm also lazy and like picking up a clean-wrapped-package at the grocery store. I've told all 3 of our cats that if the shit hits the fan and it comes down to my family starving to death or have cat-kabobs.... I will be eating pussy!

    We had a party line when I was a kid, but thank god we got a private like when I was an early teenager cause I would hate for anyone to have listened into some of my conversations. Also had a super-extra-long cord because you had to try and stretch as far as you could to have some privacy. My grandparents had a rotary dial. I hated it. I was so impatient and wouldn't wait for the dial to get all they way back and would end up dialing wrong numbers all the time I remember one time my daughter had to call my mom on a touch-tone phone. She was so confused and kept asking where's the speed-dial/contact number. I told her she had to actually dial/press the buttons She thought I was joking!

    It's fine to laugh. We laugh about it now, too. It was really scary when it happened, but it has been several years now, so the pain is not so fresh and raw anymore. I'm glad you liked it
