  1. Thanks Ron and Irritable. Sorry for my delay, it has been a crazy week here with Graduation Thanks so much for your input I can see both of your points. When I write, bits and pieces of my personal life and my own past experiences have a way of working into the story. One reason I love to create flawed characters is the fact that I'm a very very very flawed person. Asher: His reaction to Michael's betrayal is more of a knee-jerk reaction. Almost a flinch. He's angry at the moment, but that's why I wanted to show that after the fact he's going to think about what he did. Asher is a good guy. He's not perfect, but he's good. As far as Milo and Ian knowing what happened....I know with my group of friends..... They know everything less than 5 minutes after it happens! And a few in my circle of friends are more dramatic than others. I've based some of Milo/Ian characters off a few of my real life friends. With Ziggy, I've shown in early chapters that Asher and Ziggy have a close friendship. They have made crude sexual jokes and Asher enjoys making Ziggy uncomfortable. Asher didn't go into blow-by-blow details but yeah, he opened up to Ziggy. Ziggy is a good guy ((too bad he's straight....but he's still good.)) Asher isn't using the court trail as a crutch, but he knows that it will be brutal, If Michael crumbles under the pressure of the mere sight of his boss, how is he going to handle their lives being exposed in the court room? Michael: Ooooh Michael. He can be his own worst enemy. He has been gaining confidence with Asher by his side. We've seen such great strides with him and then he took a giant slide backwards. ((Like I said, mirroring real life....I am the master of self-sabotage and self-destruction) If it would have been just a random Co-worker Michael might have been okay, but Mr. Ashcroft is an obnoxious-bigoted-homophobe and Michael panicked! This was the result of timing of 2 bad situations. I hope at the end of this chapter you would see Asher is considering what to do about Michael and still thinking about their future. Michael's talk with Lana has him thinking about showing his support at the trial. Nothing is set in stone but both guys have had time to cool off and hopefully they think clear as they go forward. From the beginning, I promised that this story would be a roller-coaster of a ride. Sooooooo, Does it deliver? I can't do happy-happy, rainbows and butterflies....If readers are looking for sugary sweet love stories, I'm not that kind of writer.
  2. Ooooooh I thought I missed it! Wheeeeew! Happy Birthday Cole :D
  3. Thanks MommaB! I'm always worried that reader won't like the story. You will get more Dave, I promise! LOL There is going to be......................what can I say without spoiling it??? There will be more! I'm glad you're liking it.
  4. OMG! I wish I could like this a 100000000000000000000000 times!!
  5. Oooops I did it again!! I screwed up my first 2 attempts to post todays chapter But I got it to work!!! Hot off the press: Pour Me Another Brand-Spanking-New Chapter This is the aftermath of last week. Emotions are high. Anger, pain, betrayal are all raw and very close to the surface. Go Read and then join me back here with your questions, concerns or just to hang out!
  6. Bang! Bang! Bang! The wooden doorframe shook when Michael pounded his fist against the apartment door. “Asssher,” Michael shouted from the hallway, an unmistakable slur to his words. “Come on, Asssh, I knooow you’re in there--” Without warning, the door suddenly swung open. Ian rushed into the hallway and punched Michael square in his jaw. Michael’s head bounced back, slamming against the wall with a loud thud. Luckily, Milo was only a step behind Ian. He quickly wrapped his arms around Ia
  7. When I write and create characters I really try to ask myself what would I do?? I can understand Michael's reaction, both of his worlds just collided...big time! He's scared and his reaction was bad. If I was Asher, I would have punched Michael in the gut before walking away. ((that's just me )) Michael is comfortable being gay around people that don't know him, he's slowly poking his toes out of the closet and so far he's been accepted. Ian really hit it on the head, what will Michael do if he's confronted with hostility? He crumbled, he coward, he might have lost the best thing in his life. Sooooooooo where does that leave us? Michael is scared and hurt. Asher is angry and feels betrayed. Will these guys get their shit together before it's too late?? ...................To Be Continued.......Tomorrow

Evil?? Me?? ......ok, I am a little bad! But it can't be all butterflies and roses. I had to shake things up and now the fun starts when we get to see where the pieces land I like that 'Happy to the Crapper Quick' I might have to use that! BUT there is still more to come. We still have time for these guys to get their heads back in the game before it's too late!! Thanks for reading!

What a roller-coaster of a chapter I'm sorry....well maybe I'm not Michael reacted badly but so did Asher. Where to go from here? Michael had really opened up around strangers but when this anonymity and real life crashed together he reacted soooo bad. Then Asher's anger just fanned the flames. What a mess. Thank goodness there is still more to come, so hopefully these guys can get their acts together

Your right, Asher is pissed and Michael is going to have to fix it! He has to either merge his worlds or walk away ((Ooooh I can't wait to see what happens with these guys)) It started out sooo well and really went to crap in a flash I'm glad the readers aren't too mad a me. Thanks for reading!!

Thanks!! Michael had gotten comfortable with his anonymity and when those two world collided...they crashed. His poor reaction was even worse, but Asher's reaction was bad too. Jeeeez, I need to crack these guys with a whip Good new is there is still more to come!

......... It was a roller-coaster chapter wasn't it? Well at least the story isn't over ((that would have been a terrible spot to end)) More to come so hopefully I'll redeem myself.

Hey Bnard, thanks for reading. I'm glad you're liking the story. Yep, it was dramatic! It's hard to predict how someone will react (Michael with his boss finding out...Asher with his anger and disappointment at Michael) I know if it was me, I would have punched Michael in the gut, but I'm the punch first and sort out later kind of guy BUT there is still more to come. Hopefully these guys can work it out and move forward. Thanks again for letting me know what you think!

Unfortunately, Both guys reacted badly Michael is still worried about his 2 lives crashing together (which they just did) and Asher is getting ready for this trial which will be brutal to say the least. There is still a lot to come, hopefully these guys can work it out and get it right Thanks, Dave for reading! Kc

I was hoping readers would see that Michael was starting to open up but when faced with reality, when someone so important in his real life (especially someone so homophobic) his reaction was startling. It was a really crappy way to end a romantic getaway, so now Michael has to work hard to fix it. Thanks for reading!!

    Bonagrace Bay

Thanks! It hard to predict how someone will react in that situation and Michael reacted really bad, but so did Asher Yep! Michael had better get down on his knees and ....Oooops, got sidetracked!

Jeeez....I started to leave my reply and GA kicked me out! Is that a bad sign when the entire system is pissed off at me?? Things were too good for me to resist throwing a handgrenade into the mix, LOL. But there is still a lot to come. I hope you come back to see how things shake out.

I don't know if I should start apologizing right from the start?? LOL Ian was worried about how Michael would react and know we know BUT there is still a lot more to come. Don't be too mad at me and my boys.
